Well. An otherwise perfect evening was ruined on Saturday at RAF Cranwell by two women and one bloke.
Mid song, these two women decided to push their way in front of me. The bloke next to me made it clear he also wasn't happy at having stood there for hours to have two women to push in front of him and obstruct his view.
"I just want to take some photos of Brian for my husband who couldn't make", said one. "I won't be long".
They stood there and chatted reasonably quietly for two minutes, took a few photos and, true to their word, started to move off.
BUT, then the bloke next to me decided to ask them a question!
What The Fuck?????
All three of them then had a LOUD conversation which lasted for nearly three minutes.
I'd have been rather rude with the three of them were it not for the fact that someone very close by was filming the concert on his camera and, unlike some people, I'm not rude enough or selfish enough to piss other folks off.
If that video EVER appears on the internet, then there's at least two songs ruined by these two fucking women and that idiot bloke that should have just kept his big gob shut, and it would all have been over much quicker.
So. COME ON PEOPLE, if you go to a concert, don't be selfish and don't piss other people off by having a LOUD conversation with your friends and other people you meet.
If you want to converse, fuck off to the back where you won't annoy anyone.
Nuff said.
I personally hate how everyone holds their phones (with screens on) in the air the whole show, so that they can have their own blurry, blown-out audio copy of the show.

Agreed,
When when people who get there early to get a good spot, It should be that it remains that way with their good spot.
But when obnoxious people who can't be bothered to get there early, suddenly think it's their god given right to push their way to the front & piss everyone else off, it's a right annoying.
Then you get the "Talkers" Those annoying people who start a have a conversation about anything & everything. It Happened to me in 2008, We got really great seats for the Wembley Q+PR gig, the 2 seats in front of us were empty. The concert had started, when about 15mins into the show, the people who's seats they were turned up, caused a commotion getting settled, then he stood up, asked his Wife/girlfriend if she wanted anything fetching food drink (why the hell, they did not buy the stuff before they sat down & why he had to stand up to ask her this is beyond me) so off he goes, returns awhile later. Asking her what she preferred "This or That?" (for fucks sake sit down) .. He sat down, ate their food ect & THEN IT STARTED. out came matching cameras. *Snap* the first photo, he shows the photo to her what he has just took, starts to explain what setting he had it on ect. *Snap* She takes a photo, shows it him, starts to have a conversation, he takes another, she takes another, all the time showing each other their photos & talking out loud about them & this went on all through the show. To be honest if they actually watched about 10 minutes of the show that would have been an overstatement. So here comes the encore, by this time everyone is out of theirs seats & Going wild, these 2 then piss off early???? To catch the bus? Get their car out of the car park first? I don't know it amazes me why they bought the tickets in the first place????
I was at RAF Cranwell myself & To be honest it was a good atmosphere. The only trouble I saw, was the drunk heckler to my left (Guy with both arms Heavily tattooed, holding a can of Budwizer) It looked like there was a bit of trouble & the RAF Police had to intervene. But to be honest I was more interested in the show. Up Front Great View.
Dear God.
Some people should just be shot.
I'll NEVER understand why folks pay out upwards of £60+ for a ticket and then keep getting up to go to the bar and chatting with each other.
It's just selfish.

Yeah, I've never understood why some people even bother going to a gig if all they're gonna do is chatter incessantly (and usually LOUDLY) with their equally insouciant accompanying cronies.
A sensible solution would be for ALL bands to do 2 sets per show. The first (short) set would be for these irritating morons; just play a few well-known hits. That'll keep the hoi polloi happy. The second (long) set would be for connoisseurs and tapers; people who know how to behave appropriately at a concert.
Failing that, why don't venue security staff just zap talkers and screamers with a Taser as soon as they kick off? I'd pay extra for that!!

So you put this in the general forum and then thought "hold on, this is a serious queen discussion topic" ?
I was stunned when I saw Queen + PR in '08 at the number of people who got up and went out during parts of the show and then came back having gone to the bar or somewhere! I don't know if people who followed the whole tour for several gigs got ambivalent about missing songs they didn't like and chose these as quiet times to sneak to the loo but for me, having paid that much, I was going to take my opportunity to see "Queen" and make the most of every last second of it!

Yes mate, I did.
I didn't expect it to turn into a big discussion, but I do feel it's a serious issue and needed to vent my frustration.
These tossers ALWAYS seem to navigate their way to folks who are recording concerts as well !!
