Hello Everyone, YourValentine has surprised us last week with a 25-anniversary Live Aid documentary. Thanks for sharing this DVD with us ! link In that topic some people are talking about the first of two episodes which was not included in YV's share. I have search over the internet and found at last in the Queenhub the complete version of the documentary on one DVD. Thanks to Queenhubbie MichailVasilyev who was sharing this documentary with me ! Here is the attached info file: The Story of Live Aid Broadcast BBC4 Documentary 2010 Video Source: BroadcastLineage: SKYBOX>>>DVD RECORDER>>>YOU Menu: Yes Chapters: Yes Number of Discs: 1Disc Type: DVD5 Total Running Time: 3hours Size 4.12 gb Against All Odds Documentary which traces the story of Live Aid from its humble beginnings, a pop tune cobbled together in the back seat of a taxi, to the eve of the biggest televised event ever staged on both sides of the Atlantic. Against the background of Thatcher's Britain, one scruffy, fading rock star - Bob Geldof - recalls how he and his motley band of pop idols, rock and roll Del Boys and unpaid do-gooders tried to pull off the impossible - a global televised concert, never before attempted, to save the lives of the starving millions in Africa and force the Establishment to sit up and take the problem seriously. With only weeks to go before the big day, Geldof had no stars on board, no line-up, no broadcaster and no venues - all he had was a date in the diary. The film tells the story of the race against time to put together the biggest event in pop history.Geldof remembers how he blagged, bluffed and lied to coerce the biggest stars of the day, while they - Elton John, Queen, Paul McCartney, David Bowie, U2 and others - recall how they finally buckled under the pressure. Rockin' All Over The World Documentary telling the story of the day that music rocked the world. Bob Geldof recalls how, after 12 weeks of manic preparation, the big day finally arrived. But would it work, would the punters watch, and more importantly would they part with their cash? Bob Geldof and his team recall their fear of how the whole thing might fall apart at any minute. Stars from the day itself - Elton John, Queen, Paul McCartney, David Bowie, U2 and a whole host of others - remember walking out to face a crowd of 72,000 and a global audience of billions. And those who watched it at home, including Tony Blair, JK Rowling and Helen Fielding, recall how they didn't miss aminute of this extraordinary event. Uploaded to Mind-Warp Pavilion by other on 8th June 2011 Enjoy Here are the multiupload-links: link link link link link link link link link link link and below you can find the torrent. Have Fun ! Bokkepoot Edit 01-08-2011: In my enthusiasm I forgot to check the share if it can be burned or not; sorry for that. I'm glad that this "burning failure" can be solved by copying the VTS_02_0.bup file and change the name after that into VTS_02_0.IFO.ifo. Thanks Stone Cold Leo'82 B.R. for finding this solution ! |

There is an IFO file for the first part in VIDEO_TS folder. Name is VTS_01_0.IFO. But there is no an IFO file for second part. (it should be VTS_02_0.IFO) It doesn't work with DVD Player on a Mac. So, I can't burn it... Help please... |

So the Torrent "Rockin All Over The World" is BOTH Parts 1 & 2 On one Disc....correct? I wanted to make sure because I had D/L the "Live Aid Doc" yesterday, which seems to be Part 2, (is that correct)? Either way, just wanted to make sure the "Rockin All Over The World" was the complete program. Rajah |
