Thanks for this new Tarantura release, but where's the Disc 1 link? I saw it earlier this afternoon, but it seems to have dissapeared when the inital post was edited to include the Disc 2 link. |

Thank you for taking the time & effort to share this. What a shame that Tarantura feel the need to compress things to death. For me it makes it hard to listen to after a short time. It actually hurts my ears. Definately one for a remaster. That of course is not your fault. Thank you for sharing once again. These things don't come cheap. |
Gregsynth 25.06.2011 21:33 |
OK, I listened to this concert: Freddie sounds pretty good overall (much better than the Nagoya/Himeji/Fukuoka/Osaka garbage), and the band are pretty tight--except Brian's in his own world on this concert! Gotta love his solos on Bo Rhap and Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon! No wonder Sir GH says that the Opera Tour was Queen at their musical peak--Brian's solos are VERY experimental ;) |
Rael 26.06.2011 00:27 |
Yes yes yes yes yes yes!! Thanks a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I hope when you say you've already spoken with your lovely wife, you actually mean you've TOLD her who's in charge and that you WILL be listening to Queen on your way to Austria! LOL ;-) |

Good show. The only annoying part is the constant shouting of "FREDIIIIIIIIIE" from that one girl. |

Great news !! many thanks for sharing this new boot from Tarantura ! :) |
drmurph 28.06.2011 16:06 |
I can't thank you enough for this. I'm listening to the Prophet's song (a great version, Brian doesn't fluff his chords like Boston) but that girl has shouted Freddie! too many times to count. Oh there was a few Rogers!! at the end of the track too. |
Sith 30.06.2011 10:53 |
I finally had the chance to listen to the entire show and it's a real nice recording and performance. Only one negative though. If I were the person that recorded the show, I would have stuffed a sock in that girls mouth who was constantly screaming. I cringed evertime she screamed! |

Wonderful! A totally new concert and in great sound quality. Thank you very much for sharing and buying the bootleg! Huge thanks. |

Thanks bootLuca ! Generous as always. I've uploaded the 12-2-77 show as per your request. Excellent show. Brian has his couple gaffes, but overall the band put in a great performance. |

Death to the Freddie woman!!!! (She'll be in her 50s now!) Seriously, is this the loudest CD ever produced?? Tim |
The Real Wizard 18.07.2011 00:41 |
Here's something I regrettably just added to my website: "The first 20 seconds of In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited are actually from Mr Peach's recording from two nights later in Himeji. Freddie's piano intro to the song was presumably missing from the Tokyo master, so the bootleg label decided to patch in the missing part from another show. At :19, phase can be heard as one recording cross-fades into the other. They managed to degrade the quality of the Himeji segment to match the Tokyo recording, leading one to wonder if the Tokyo recording was degraded as well." I knew I recognized the piano intro, and here's the answer. This tactic isn't foreign to bootleg labels, but it hasn't happened too often with Queen bootlegs. |
