I've been trying to decipher the audio to this particular demo. I've made my own little interpreation of the lyrics , so I hope others will add their two cents, so perhaps oneday we can have the bare minimum [of the words] figured out.
verse 1: Who said that you can go and stick your nose in my affair's
Who said we had to go live among the stairs.
{ad libbing] da, de ,da, do
Da, da, da ,da de, da
chorus: That's the way it goes, wheither you like it or not. That's the way it goes.
Take you quite alot, your still alive
You know that something when you run and go hide, sun beats down a glow
When your lovers there you look up to the skies, and know that all....
yeah it's not alot, to consume alot in life you do, when you go along, they say it's time to go.
That's the way it goes, that's the way I like it, you don't have to show me, well that's the way it goes, yeah, ha!
verse 2: There's not alot that's gone
{more ad libbing] de de de de da de
Hey, gonna make a law suit, hey ,hey, that's the way it goes, yeah baby.
You can see it babe, they gotta lot to say. If you take your time, and let me around to say.
It's too late to go, it's too late to go home. It's too late to go now, cause you left them for a very long time.
Before I heard it, I thought it was an early version of Scandal. I was wrong.
But I think it was just an impromptu thing they did in the studio. I don't think there was any real meaning behind the track, but who knows, right?
I can't belive, thats a impromptu. The verses are very complex. I think you are right, thats from the same emotion, to write -Scandal-. And Queen votet -Scandal- for the LP. What do you think? Whose style is the lyric and the music? Does anybody know, who discovered this demo? I also can't find any informations in the web!
The only answer i found is this folowing text from you tube. But i gaves now answer who is the composer.
David Richards (co-producer of many Queen albums) was a special guest at
the Italian Queen Fan Community gathering in Rome at 27th of November
2010.
During his speech he have played two tracks from the
archive he have found 22 years later.. Grand Dame, which is a never
finished instrumental track) and Affairs (Improvisation with Freddie
vocals) both from The Miracle studio sessions in 1989.
