It's pretty known that Shove It (the song) includes samples of FBG and Flash's Theme. The live version is even more evident. However, I had never heard about anyone mentioning that the Stand Up For Love rythm (or drums if you prefer, even if they are not) might be the actual WWRY beat, only that speeded-up and with the low frequencies removed. Is it only me who feels the similarity?

i'll answer your questions in the order you asked them:
1. yes they may or may not be drums
2. they are NOT the actual WWRY beat
3. speeded up and with the low frequencies removed? - so basically an entirely different beat
4. yes it is oNLY YOU who feels the similarity

You answered four questions when only one was asked.
I've just been listening to the Shove It title track and I noticed at 3:06-3:18 there's repetiton of a guitar hook similar to the hook right before 'Gordon's alive!' in Flash, so people are probably right about the sampling of Flash. I can't say I've noticed ever any Fat-Bottomed Girls samples, although I have a sneaking suspicion about a sample of Roger's operatic 'for meeeee' from Bo Rhap at 1:34-1:36. Also, has anyone else noted how Freddie doesn't get credit for his backing vocals on the track? Honestly, listen to 0:34, 1:22, 2:12 and 2:14 - it's clearly Freddie on bv.
