Taper's Notes:
I totally booked this just to see Brian May. I'd seen clips of his protege, Kerry Ellis, from when she was in Wicked, and just never cared for her takes on the songs. To be honest, I still don't, but when she's doing more rock and pop tracks, I can see why people dig her. Anyhow, the concert was outside and it was a freezing night after a day of rain so I had the mic's under my pullover, hence the lack of really high treble. I'd also been feeling like death warmed over for most of the day and planned to leave at most after 30 minutes, so it's a testimony to how amazing Brian May is to watch and listen to as a guitarist that I stayed for the entire main set - and totally worth coming out despite the weather and the exhaustion.
No encores as the queue for the gents was fairly long and I missed the intros and got chatted to by staff (friendly chatter, even from the fellow who was dogging folks with cameras) on the way back to my seat. By that point, combined with wondering how you follow up WWRY/Champions, I decided to try and catch an early train home only to find out at the station that there wasn't one. Curse you, network rail and your late night one train per hour schedule. On the other hand, props to the staff at the Palace who didn't catch my recorder or battery box and mic despite feeling up and looking in the pockets for both.
Last, I did normalise this to bring the peaks up to 0db, but didn't eq further as I couldn't quite get it somewhere I was happy with. I would suggest overall to nudge the bass down and bring up what higher points are there, but YMMV. If you want to fit this onto one CD, I'd knock off the first minute or two of Dangerland and fade in as the majority of the leading instrumental is from click

Please note this guy listed the Encore incorrect, the Encore was infact:-
1. Anthem
2. Gimme Some Lovin (Kerry Only Vocal) (no Ty Taylor, at this gig to duet with)
3. Tie Your Mother Down
