You might as well tell us what it was now :)
He has taken some raw vocal from the bo rhap master track and slowed it down, added some studio banter from the One Vision sessions (wtf?) and is touting it as a Bo Rhap demo.
Seriously, get it from him and then mock him in the face on this thread.
Right agaisnt others advice I am on here one last time to put the record straight......something was entrusted to one of the members of this site...and Im sad to say that the person could not be trusted to carry out instructions....I created a track and gave it too him to upload on my behalf as my computer would not let me upload to QueenZone...the company I work for/who gave me the computer must have put a block on certain sites for upload material....here is the original email sent to mooghead........
start of email...
many thanks...Ive tried many times to upload this myself but to no avail...it
keeps coming up error....now firstly I do hope the instructions are
carried out promptly...this is the text I would like you to copy and
paste, creating a new discussion under Serious Discussions in the
Forum........I have converted the original to Mp3 as sending a
96hz/24bit file would have taken forever......
"How about this.........this recording is not a geniuine demo from the
Marx Bros Sessions.....or the Night at the Opera Sessions as many of you
know it....the reason Im putting this up here is because..no demo of
Bohemian Rhapsody actually exists...except in Freddies mind back
then..and what he had played for friends, but never recorded......when he
played the song as we know it now, to the band for the first time...it
was mainly completed, on piano..it was based on three songs that he had
been working on for years previous on either the piano or guitar...one
was entitled "The Cowboy Song"....not by freddie, but a friend of his at
College....the band then referred to this melody as the cowboy song as
freddie developed it into what many of you now know as Bohemian
Rhapsody...then the band knew it as that as well.......the other two
songs were basically the middle section and the rock section of Bohemian
Rhapsody (freddie was experimenting at that time with different
styles, and wanted to create an operatic track), but the cowboy song
which could be classed as the demo to Bohemian Rhapsody as it contains
most of the song I believe (after listening to a few tapes, and snippets
of vocal track takes) would have gone something like
this..........P.s..material used to make this is widely available...I
have added studio banter from One Vision outakes to fill in the gaps
where studio banter that Im not allowed to publish would go...but the
meaning of what they say is more or less the same.....this is for the
fans...."
again thank you...and can I please also ask that the included track not
be altered or shared anywhere else than stated.....many thanks QPL
end of email.....
it also had a file attached in an mp3 format of the song in question....no illusions were made just a simple request....
so as it turns out that the file was not uploaded just abuse was put up instead,I shall not again request anything from anyone on this site....I shall just continue with my usual job....Oh by the way,I also lost a bet to a certain Doctor with curly hair as well for a pound....
I am not sure if this thread is a reason to laugh or cry, so let me remember you of some Roger Taylor poetry:
"This ain't no tragedy
This ain't no addiction
This ain't no comedy
This ain't no fiction
But baby you make me laugh
And baby you make me cry
I don't mind either way
Now I don't care why
You just gotta laugh --
or cry
Right till. The day
you die........"
Cheers,
Ogre-
The 'Cowboy Song'? You get that from the 'Days of our Lives' documentary? It came from the keyboard player from Smile.
Nobody knew he existed until that documentary.
Pestgrid, you are indeed a Pest. Oh and a nobhead.
Oh by the way,I also lost a bet to a certain Doctor with curly hair as well for a pound....

Colin Baker?
He seems like the type of person to sit at home sending you fake demos.

Ahahahaha gotta love a good Dr. Who joke. :P
This guy surely didn't watch the making of ANATO as he is stating that no demo for Bohemian exists...; if I remember correctly even in the recent documentary something new from ANATO sessions was shown.
