There is an official Queen book slated for release in September 2011 to commemorate the 40th anniverdary. There is a picture of the cover on Amazon and some other retailers, and the text on the book cover says that it includes an "audio CD". (it doesn't state 'music' just 'audio'.
Anyone know what is on the CD??
My guess it that it could it be the abandoned commentaries that Roger and Brian did for the bonus EPs?, or alternatively just another 'Greatest Hits' compilation.
Any other guesses in absence of any facts on this??

That's the one!!
The CD is of an interview with all four of them.
If you want to see how good this book looks, check out the ABBA Treasures book with the same theme as the Queen book.
I'm guessing the Queen for an hour interview in 1989? Hell at this point I'm more interested in the book than the CD @ this point. Either way, I will be pre-ordering from Amazon here soon!
Mnay thanks for the confirmation of the audio CD Gary - are you able to say whether this is an interview that we will have already heard (eg the 1989 one) or is it a previously unissued one from the vaults?
Im assuming that it is one already 'out there' cos I can't think that a full scale interview with all four members which is long enough to warrant inclusion as a release would ever be carried out, and then not issued/broadcast at the time.
On a related point, can you comment on as to why Roger and Brian are always usually interviewed separately for Queen stuff these days? There was a magazine piece recently (Mojo or the like) where the article actually specified that they had asked to be interviewed apart, which surprised me). It would be lovely for things like the ANATO classic albums to have had them both chat together about the songs and interact at the mixing desk when 'pulling apart' the mixes etc.. I know they have done audio commentaries together for CD/DVD stuff, but it would be nice for visual stuff to have them chatting together sometimes.
Cheers
ps - Am looking forward to the book; sounds as if it will be a visual feast! (Is this why the 'I Want It All' memorabilia book is delayed?)

Well I don't agree with you on this, but if nothing else will be cut from the interview, I'll be happy. It will DEFINITELY sound better than the transfer of the 30+ years old MC tape recorded off the broadcast which we all have now :-)
