I'm new to all this and was wondering which are the best sound quality from each of the Queen Tours.
Looking for about the best 5 or 6 from each tour.
Can anyone help me please.
Cheers

Some of my favorites are from Toronto, Chicago and Montreal from December of 78. The band was on fire during this part of the JAZZ tour and the recordings are fantastic. Boston from 1976 was a recent recording that found it's way to our ears and that is absoulutely outstanding as far as performance AND recording! Other fans will have their faves and that will give you a long list of shows to choose from. Enjoy!

Sure! As far as quality wise:
Queen: Golden Green (London '73), Liverpool '73
Queen II: Portland '74, Rainbow '74 (March)
Sheer Heart Attack: Rainbow '74 (November), Milwaukee '75, Tokyo 4/19/75, Tokyo 5/1/75
A Night at the Opera: Manchester '75, Hammersmith '75, Boston '76 (best one!), the Osaka '79 gigs
Maybe someone else can give the rest.
But best quality bootlegs are:
Boston '76
Boston '77
Copenhagen '77
Montreal '78
Chicago '78
Chicago '80
Tokyo 2/16/81
Mannheim '86....
Some time ago I shared here a little series called "The Best Of The Best" which included just the excellent sounding audio recordings. The problem is that I"m not sure if the links still work. Also, that was done before Tarantura started to release the great sounding Mr. Peach tapes
Excellent sounding recordings, which are "commonly available"
1973-09-13 Golders Green Hippodrome, London, UK - either my merge or the "vocal restoration" edition

1975-04-29 Yamaha Resort Tsumagoi - Exhibition Hall, Kakegawa, Japan - "Seven Seas Of Tsumagoi"
1975-05-01 Nippon Budokan, Tokyo, Japan - either my merge or the Tarantura bootleg "Young Nobles Of Rock"

And that's just the 70's :-)
Sounds like the worst show to me, but again we've only heard 5 of 25 shows so far. Brian and John hit bum notes all over the place. But it's Freddie's night - it's one of his best performances ever.
I find it odd that there are no A or even A+ rated NOTW audience recordings available. One can only hope. This is the only tour that is missing such a recording.
Emperors of Japan Tokyo 1975
After listening to hundreds of Queen bootleg shows this is my favourite one, great atmosphere,
great sound (thanks to merge/remaster), great tracklist, best known recording
of Hangman, rare complete recording of Great king rat, great cover artwork,
great guitar solo, just perfect, that’s the way it should be –thanks to Pittrek
and all other involved in this recording link
