let us know what you think!
would prefer it if it was recordings from Queen, dont a fan of others singing their songs, its never as good and often just gets on my nerves when they mess up one of the lines and its always my favorite lines to!
i say a good "Queen week" is where we all met up, dress like Queen, take over some pub and make them play every Queen album in history and do this every night for a week, and after we all gossip about Queen whilst quite drunk (or in my case lyper from coke) oh thatd be the day!
or we could just have a Queen skype debate celebrating the 40th?

Brillant idea - where would we meet?
Hi everyone!
Thanks for all your comments so far, we're loving the idea of sitting in a pub whilst getting drunk listening to Queen songs!
Who would you say is your favourite cover out of those 5?
The guy who played BoRhap was brave, indeed. Specially for the approach he took.
But why do we think this guy is brave? It's almost as if Bohemian Rhapsody is ontouchable, impossible to cover.
I've heard a couple of Pub/Bar bands making full renditions of the song (including the opera bit) and only lacking a bit in the voices. I'm sure they must use a couple of samples here and there but the overall effect is very nice.
The song is complex but more on the arrangement than the actual chord progression or melodies. You can play a very convincing version of the song in a single instrument (like the Ukelele guy, awesome!) and it will still be Bohemian Rhapsody.
I'm sure many people here think that if Queen didn't play it live, nobody can and it's impossible to replicate.
On the other hand, how many Bohemian Rhapsody covers have you heard? Is any of those any good?
I'm sure a band like, say, Dream Theater coulp pull off a damn good rendition of the song (with guest choir, I guess) in the style of the original Queen album version.
White Queen was a nice cover, although I didn't like how they changed some parts of the melody.
39: boring, lyrics changed.
Somebody to love: boring.
BoRhap: didn't like it but he even played the opera section so it's ok.
