I went to the exhibition yesterday and came across some interesting tape
boxes on display, I took some photos and thought it would be
interesting to share them with you.
I have put in the serious discussion thread because i thought it would
be an interesting idea to discuss. They had the complete Hyde Park
master tape on display! and some of The Rainbow from 20/11/74 as well as
the Bohemian Rhapsody master and Keep Yourself Alive (Long and short
versions)
Hopefully you will be able to view the pics. I thought it would be nice to share these with you.
Also it seemed to me that the Rainbow footage of 'Now I'm Here' from the 19/11/1974 had different camera angles to the film version and from my ears a new sound mix! It had the same drum sound that they have done with the Hammersmith Odeon gig.
Also I saw some Hyde Park footage and from what i could hear its a new sound mix too! The line 'So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye' was clearly audible in the mix! also the same drum sound was heard too.
One can assume they must be doing new sound mixes for future release, well i seriously hope so anyway!
everywhere i look on queen sites i see something about the exhibition! i swear you are all trying to make me more jealous! im going insane here! take me with you darn it!

Well, I think that if you try to steal these beauties there could be an alarm which could sound as "this is a property of Queen Productions" (voice of GB) lol

those pix of the master reels are amazing
thanks a lot
This is awesome!
Thanks! with this photos we can asume that a recording of Flick of the wrist live at Rainbow exist in the archives! would be great hear these version someday!
Another thing... the "John voice" track in the Hyde park Multitrakcs is empty?? they used to turned down his microphone.
John sang backing vocals in some songs and they have his voice in the multitracks.
This means when QP release Hyde Park gig (hahaha), the producer decide to keep his voice like in the recording or turn low john voice.
