Queen Remastered Editions - Bonus Videos
| silver_salmon 01.03.2011 07:57 |
Hi all, In Itunes page i found more details about each new edition of Queen Albums, at least, we will have 2 or 3 additional tracks as videos. Montreal, Wembley and Milton Keynes and Rainbow stuff, this last could be the most interesting...but in the end..more of the same. QUEEN 1. Son And Daughter (Live at the Hammersmith Odeon, 1975) 2. Liar (Live at the Rainbow Theatre, 1974) 3. Keep Yourself Alive (Filmed at St John’s Wood Studios, London, 1973) QUEEN II 1. White Queen (As It Began) (Live at the Rainbow Theatre, 1974) 2. Seven Seas Of Rhye (Live at Wembley Stadium, London, 1986) 3. Ogre Battle (Live at the Hammersmith Odeon, 1975) SHEER HEART ATTACK 1. Killer Queen (Top Of The Pops, Version 2, 1974) 2. Stone Cold Crazy (Live at the Rainbow Theatre, 1974) 3. Now I’m Here (Live at the Forum, Montreal, 1981) A NIGHT AT THE OPERA 1. Bohemian Rhapsody (No Flames Original Version, 1975) 2. Seaside Rendezvous (ANATO 30th Anniversary Version, 2005) 3. Love Of My Life (Live at Milton Keynes Bowl, 1982) A DAY AT THE RACES 1. You Take My Breath Away (Live at Earls Court, 1977) 2. Tie Your Mother Down (Live at Milton Keynes Bowl, 1982) 3. Somebody To Love (Promo Video, 1976) link |

I can't access the link right now, so can you advise if it makes it clear whether the bonus videos will be available to download individually, or ONLY available with purchase of the full album? If the latter (which I suspect will be the case) then for most, it will mean needing to buy the Deluxe CD for the bonus audio, and ALSO the full album in order to get the bonus video? Rip-off. Does the inclusion of a few Hammersmith 75 videos also mean that either the official release of this is way off, or alternatively these tracks will be excluded from the final DVD? |

Absolutely NOTHING interesting among those videos :-( |

It'll probably be too late by then, but I'll certainly be watching (and recording) the full shows, unless your only alowed so long on the lap tops. Going on Sat, can't bloody wait! |

Sir GH wrote: Liar from the Rainbow is interesting... the song was cut on the VHS release.. True, so we can only hope that this is the complete version. If so, that would be awesome, but I have the feeling it's going to be the same horrid edit....I pray they prove me wrong. |

Hi, There is no limit on laptop usage (unless there is a queue behind you) and you can select the video you want to watch. It is windows media player, so it is quite standard to use. Beware, videos are long (complete Rainbow, Hammersmith and Earls Court) Personally, I don't see any value on recording from the screen as the main difference is the image quality and the SOUND! what a great sound, (particularly Earls Court). However, a USB key when nobody is around would do wonder things ;-) |

Only BoRhap and Ogre Battle |

If anyone is recording, please prioritize the Rainbow footage, as it is exclusively NEW footage. We have Hammersmith, Hyde Park and Earls Court already. |
| marvinp01 02.03.2011 12:13 |
yes lets agree that Rainbow is at the top of our lists! |

Bob, there was even a LONGER Tokyo 1975 show with a silent (but perfect) video before the usual start with shots from rehearsal and probably another concert... 4 different version (not mixed togheter) of Seven Seas Of Rhye and so on... |
| shamar 02.03.2011 16:35 |
download stuff, ha ? Why the f**K they don't include videos on second discs ? |
| The Real Wizard 02.03.2011 16:47 |
New Japan 75 footage too... this is pretty monumental stuff. Bring on the DVD releases, QP. What a waste it'd be to unearth all this footage and not release it.. |

Amazon website says that there are three discs. Hmmm, what could the third disc be? |

Clever stuff eh? :P I wondered if they'd notice the fact that people could copy the stuff. |

I don't know how is the system but the laptops has some OS charged?? If the laptops has some kind of Operative Sistem anybody easly could do a copy with a USB Key... |

- Hey mister, what are you up to with that USB stick? - You mean, THIS USB stick? (pointing) - Yes. - Well, it went in the socket by accident. It just happened. - Fair enough, enjoy the shows. - :) |

From what I remember they are running Windows. You can skip the video and move through the tracks. I did not try to exit the player or check the menus, so I don't know if the video source is in the hard disk or in a protected DVD. If videos are in a DVD copying would be more difficult, (you may need extra software), but if they are in the hard disk ...... I am sure it is already done. We just need to wait a few months until they surface. |

Did anyone buy the video of You Take My Breath Away from Earls Court 77, and can confirm which night it's from? The band released the video of the song from the first night on the official website as a free download when they did the Absolute Greatest thing, so maybe this time they used the second night .. ? A clip of it was seen in a documentary in the 90s, so it wouldn't be out of the question.. |
| eYe 28.04.2011 04:32 |
To me both vids seem to be from the same night, the iTunes version is better quality though. I'll try to send you a link, so you can check yourself. |

Sounds great, thanks. You know where to find me ... :-) |
