I was skimming through the 'most overplayed Queen songs' thread and I thought I'd flip it. This 'underplayed' idea may already exist, but here's my list of most underplayed Queen songs (or more specifically, songs that need a serious boost in popularity with this hyped-up pop and contempary R&B generation - bleeeurrrgggggh!!!!!)
#1 - Bo Rhap (what else? You never hear any more on radio. I heard it once on a classic rock station, but in the defense of fans who skim radio stations for Queen songs, I never listen to popular radio because its way too modern, i.e. full of hyped-up pop)
#2 - Now I'm Here (utter classic of stadium rock and its one of THE guitar anthems of the 70s)
#3 - One Vision (adrenaline-inducer to the hilt, v. underplayed. I heard this ONCE on Radio 2 and squealed to the heavens because Queen was being played on the radio)
#4 - Headlong (high-energy vibe and packs a punch of pure kickass metal)
#5 - Hammer to Fall (rip-roaring blast of general awesomeness in general. Heard it once on Radio 2 and had to pinch myself)
#6 - You Don't Fool Me (one of the best songs off MiH, and a perfect marriage of rock and ibiza)
#7 - Breakthru (good hit that was mercilessly skewered off Absolute Greatest and could stand to get a bit of airplay - its got Roger's rock vibe written all over it, with the A New Life is Born bit from Freddie drawing you in a flash)
#8 - Under Pressure (Queen plus David Bowie. No more to be said. It just ticks me off when the monster bassline comes in, only to get rapped over. Just let the collaberation unfreeze by letting the 1981 classic get heard on radio)
#9 - Innuendo (many say it's musically the sequel to Bo Rhap, and they could be on to something. Only number-one for a week but it least it got the band their 3rd #1! And as far as number 1s are concerned, it holds a certain title, and you proper Queenzoners will know what already)
#10 - YMBF (Good heart-warming classic. Maybe its just a rumour, but is this one of most requested tracks on US radio? If so it has good reason. Maybe a huge amount of plays in Britain could get John out of retirement)
I must confess in all honesty, it was murder to make this because pretty every song by Queen except DSMN, IWTBF, Rock You and Champions is brutally neglected.
Long live BM, JD and RT (and FM in heaven, it's his true home as an immortal after all)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, at least here in Argentina is still a bit overplayed.

Good choice!! I love them both. Very powerful songs that always cheer me up.

It's too beautiful and special, it would be a pity it became popular.
Sometimes I regret that there are so many beautiful songs unknown for the general public, but actually it's better this way, when songs are overplayed they start becoming a bit annoying (for example Friends will be friends, We are the champions, We will rock you, I've listened to them so many times that I almost hate them)
Living in London, i listen to magic and they play Queen at least once every dj session and if you want to know how often the bbc radio stations play queen you can go to the queen artist page and it will list the most recent played
the most recent queen songs ive heard on magic are
Killer Queen
I want to break free - this one is played the most
TSMGO
Radio Gaga
We are the champions
Your my best friend
Dont Stop me now
Now I'm here definitley doesn't get the airplay it deserves. It's one of Brian May's finest moments, and one of the standout tracks on my fave Queen album SHA.
I'd add Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy to the list as well, It's a wonderful track but a lot of people just don't seem to have heard of it.
