Hello again!
Well, I'm finally done with the translation of these old articles. It was a fun but tiresome activity. I hope you enjoy it and find the information and pictures interesting.

Pelo Magazine meets Queen: "A night at the country house"
The meeting between our photographers and editors and Queen took place the night before their final show in Argentina, in a country house in west Buenos Aires. There gathered some people close to the band, the tour promoters, Queen members with their families and the rest of the staff. Of course the menu was barbecued meat and several dozens of pasties. In a congenial atmosphere, away from the stage nervousness and the photographers and fans persecution, Brian, Roger, Freddie and John were given the latest "Pelo" issue, with the coverage of their debut in our country.
In that "night at the country house" many topics related to Queen performances in Argentina were discussed, but expectations were focused on the farewell concert the band would give the following day at Velez Sarsfield stadium. By then, it was a fact that the show was sold out and the members of the band were sure that it was going to be very emotional and tense.
Joke - A long time after the dinner, some musicians and close friends of the band were wandering next to the swimming pool. They wanted to celebrate the moment by throwing Jim Beach into the cold water, but Beach realised what was going on and moved to a safer place, while smiling at his mischievous fellows.
Fervour - May and Deacon were talking about the immense affection that fans showed them everywhere they had been. Brian was very surprised and explained why they had arrived late to the barbecue: the fans wouldn't let them leave the hotel.
Weather - Although the dinner was taking place outdoors and the night was quite cool (almost freezing cold), Queen were nice and willing to have a good time. In spite of the cold weather, which they are used to, they did everything possible to behave as if they were at home and forget that they are stars.
Anecdote - During the meeting, each of them told us about the experiences and "adventures" of their stay in Argentina. May commented about his walk in the Rose Garden and the shopping "tour" in Florida street; Deacon talked about his long walks around the city with his wife and children, including a visit to the zoo, and Taylor told us about his fun visit to an amusement park with his wife Dominique.
Curiosity - Before dinner, the four members of Queen wanted to satisfy their curiosity: how and where the barbecued meat was being cooked. They had already tasted it but they wanted to see a "live barbecue".
Maradona
After the dinner, there was a high-voltage conversation between Freddie Mercury and members of Pelo Magazine. It all began when Freddie, excited, commented on his idea of wearing a Flash Gordon t-shirt during the farewell concert and then invite Maradona (whom some members of the band admire) on stage. Once there they would exchange t-shirts. Mercury thought this would be nice and a kind of tribute to the famous Argentinian football player, and asked for our opinion:
Pelo Magazine: Honestly, he has nothing to do with it. We don't understand why you want to do something like that.
Freddie: Music is fun and so is football, why can't they be together?
PM: In Argentina, the rock audience is not the same as the football audience, they have different aims and different tastes.
F: If people love both Queen and Maradona, I'll try to put these two feelings together. It's that simple. Anyway, it won't be a show for the press, but a show for the people.
PM: You're right, we know that people love Queen. As for Maradona, he never showed any interest in this kind of music, and he has never supported rock people.
F: However, I think this will work out fine. I like the idea.
PM: We think that in time this will be misinterpreted as demagogy, but if your purpose is to unite and not to divide, we wish you luck.

Muy buena la traduccion!
Sabes??
Saludos!
