Part of a five-album Queen SHM-CD reissue series featuring albums "Queen," "Queen II," "Sheer Heart Attack," "A Night at the Opera," and "A Day at the Races." Just to clarify, and to what is also mentioned in another thread, this is not the final tracklisting. Details will be released soon. |

Oh good, I was afraid we wouldn't get the Wembley version of BoRhap as a bonustrack on ANATO. |
Wilki Amieva 18.01.2011 11:07 |
It has been brought to my attention that the details currently published by UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE Japan at: link were preliminary and are now outdated, and should not be regarded as the definitive product. |
brians wig 18.01.2011 15:31 |
It would be nice if they could include the ORIGINAL version of "Mad The Swine", so that those of us who so wished could seamlessly insert it back where it was in the original listing..... |
GinjaNinja 18.01.2011 16:58 |
Seconded! Little things like that would make these re-issues more worthwhile. |

That can't be it can it ?Five bonus tracks for each 2011 Remaster. If that is the case i wont be buying, what a total and utter waste of time and effort. No need really for a second disc as it would all fit on one disc.Oh well thats about £100 saved. |
qrock 19.01.2011 10:23 |
If there is Commentary of the tracks by Roger and Brian, I would buy it but the rest is just an utter waste of time. It could be worse, Queen productions could have provided us with just fuzzy noises. |

Save yourself the money, I can tell you exactly what 90% of the audio commentary for the tracks will be: Roger Taylor: Aaah yes, The March Of The Black Queen... One of Freddie's I believe. One of the longest tracks we ever did I think. Can't remember much about it, just being bored hahaha. Brian May: This is actually a bit of a pre-cursor to BoRhap, which was on the album that came after this one. Quite a interesting track, which was written in response to an old track of mine called White Queen because of the black/white theme we had on this album. There is actually an even longer version in our archives which has NEVER been heard. |

The only one I'm excited about is You Take My Breath Away from Hyde Park. Why are they including audio from Hammersmith 1979 for most bonus tracks? Why not audio of the same songs from Rainbow 1974 as Freddie and the band sound much better... |
pittrek 19.01.2011 13:08 |
What ? Somebody actually wants to hear the audio commentary ? Really ? I mean ... why ? Every commentary track I've ever heard from Brian and Roger was rubbish . Well if they cut it together from some old interviews, it might be worth listening to, but if it's new, it's just a waste of CD space |

It has been clearly stated that this is not the final track listing. I'm excited to see what will be included as extras. Only weeks ago, people on here were complaining that the releases were not slated to include a bonus cd. Now it clear that they are considering a bonus cd for inclusion with the first 5 albums, and people are still unhapppy. Let's try a positive thread for once. To increase the likelihood of their being releases of meaterial you want, we should be sharing what we've enjoyed about past releases. eg: Live at Wembley DVD. I'm still playing this DVD like it was released only this week. A fantastic show and it's great to have the whole gig. I also enjoyed the edited releases from this tour (Live Magic/Budapest) too, but Live at Wembley is what I refer to as my screensaver DVD :) cheers |

Just a warning about SHMCD. As an audiophile I have a few. Ther mastering is the most important part. Chances are that new remasters will just be louder. If you are looking to upgrade the sound quality, simply buying a super high material CD is not as important as how it's remastered. In ths case, look for early Japanese non-remastered pressings. They have strange things like bass left in it like it's supposed to. If anyone cares, google and your tube "loudness war". Basically, don't throw away your old cds |

The Dude, have you listened to the new Greatest Hits? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. I hold grave fears that they will be super loud and butchered. |

Revisitet (Wembrey 1986) 4, Flick Of The Wrist (BBC Session 5) 5, Tenement Funster (BBC Session 5) and Audio Commentary by Queen @ A Night At The Opera 1, Bohemian Rhapsody (Mix, Newcastle 1979 + Hammersmith Odeon 1979) 2, You're My Best Friend (Houston 1979) 3, Love Of My Life (Newcastle, 1979) 4, '39 (Newcastle 1979) 5, I'm In Love With My Car (from LIVE KILLERS) and Audio Commentary by Queen @ A Day At The Races 1, Tie Your Mother Down (Hammersmith Odeon 1979) 2, Somebody To Love (Hammersmith Odeon 1979) 3, You Take My Breath Away (Hyde Park 1976)! 4, Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy (TOTP) 5, Matt Torriatte (Japan, Sapporo 1982) and Audio Commentary by Queen |

FFS - All we need are box sets as Genesis have done. All songs correctly in one place, not a live one here and then the same gig, different song on another disc ! Don't these people ever listen to the fans / customers ??? Or,as we all suspect, another (not so) crafty way to get us to part with as much money as possible.I'll be dead by the time we get what we want !!! BTW - anyone got a copy of Freddie Mercury The Very Best Of Solo to make up the Italian Queen & Freddie Mercury The Definitive Collection Box Set ??? |
Big Fat Fanny 25.01.2011 10:54 |
What a big, fat disappointment. Hardly anything we haven't heard before. Why am I surprised? I just thought that maybe, just maybe this time they'd do us proud. As if. |
pittrek 25.01.2011 11:22 |
Jesus Christ. People - NOBODY KNOWS WHAT IS THE CORRECT TRACKLIST ! THE TRACKLIST WRITTEN HERE AND ON THE JAPANESE WEBSITE IS INCORRECT ! |
