| pittrek 30.12.2010 14:27 |
Venue: La Rotonde du Bourget, Paris, France
Date: 25. November 1980
Lineage: PRO > master > TV broadcast on Argentinian TV > NTSC VHS (x) > Snowproducciones DVD (1) > mpg > AviSynth (converting back to PAL, cleanup) > Womble Video Wizard (re-editing, synchronization with audio > mpg
Audio lineage: AUD > ? > "Hello Paris" (Breakdown) > WAV > Cool Edit Pro (upsampling to 48kHz) > WAV
Tracks :
Jailhouse Rock
We Will Rock You (fast)
Let Me Entertain You
Death On Two Legs
Get Down Make Love
Need Your Loving Tonight
Love Of My Life
Keep Yourself Alive
Roger's tympani solo
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
I've been always upset that this video is silent, so I one nice evening sat down and synchronized the parts myself. I've been shocked that my very first version looks correct, just watch Roger's solos - they seem to be synchronized perfectly ! The rest was simply a guess from my side, but I watched it now and it looks correct.
Anyway, let me know what you think.
Also - is there a better copy circulating ? It would be great if I could re-work it with better looking footage :-)
Here is the download link, feel free to torrent it before it gets erased from megaupload
linkEnjoy and as usually - don't reencode. It looks bad already |

Thank you very much, Peter! It's excellent! A few weeks ago I compared audio to video and it seemed to me that part where Need Your Loving Tonight plays can be from Keep Yourself Alive :-) |
| pittrek 30.12.2010 14:46 |

Hey pittrek, I'm looking for topic where you gave a link to several seconds of unknown early ADATR 1977 tour footage about month ago and I can't seem to find it :-) Can you please give me a link to this topic? |

Thanks pittrek, annother excellent work of yours! It's great that someone really looks into these short, low-quality videos. By the way, I would be glad if you could upload the footage from the March 31, 1974 Rainbow performance (two songs). I found Son and Daughter on your Youtube account and I would be great to have it here on Queenzone too. |

dmitry wrote: Where Sound in this record? Please do the record with the soundOkay. I've experienced Pittreks videos before with this problem and it's very easy to fix (or at least it is if, like me, you do video editing, DVD authoring and have the correct software!) Peter always encodes at the highest video bitrate possible and likes to add LPCM audio as well and this is the problem. Combined, they are 'too big' for lots of software to playback. What you need to do is demux the mpeg file to it's component parts and re-encode the audio to ac3, then re-multiplex the two files and you will have a working mpeg file with sound. |

If anyone cares, I have tabulated the announce threads I've initiated here since day one. There's something like 125 of them. But the listings at Queenconcerts.com are probably good enough, regardless of who did what. |
