Just models for the shoot. This poster was banned here in the States because of it's "racy" nature.Go figure. I actually met a guy that had this poster and I almost had it for my collection but he gave me a large French poster from the "Magic" tour instead. I would have preferred the chicks instead!
I bought this poster at a low budget mall in 1976. I have no idea how they got their hands on them, but they sold it for $5.00. I should have bought all that they had, never realized it was rare and banned until many years later.
If anyone wants it, I have a spare one lying around.
VG+ condition, nice for it's age. Pin holes in all 4 corners, of the 2 right corners very small piece missing. Some creases but nothing too harmful.

That's a fantastic image! The models are both female-- I am the one laying down, my younger sister is kneeling. We are in a constructed forced-perspective set, that slanted down at a pretty steep angle. My horrified, demon-ridden expression is mostly the effort of not sliding down into the camera tripod's legs... The band was nowhere near the studio, their faces were stripped in. This was decades before Photoshop. But we did get limo'd to the show, and escorted backstage to say hello to the very distracted band members. link

Wow. A seemingly honest post and identification of the models?
Really?
REALLY? ??

Yep! :) I was a college student, and some kid in an art class took some pictures of me with an experimental camera that made 3D images. He was trying to sell the idea to record companies, and Electra Asylum's art director said they needed models for one particular project that didn't look like fashion models. Everyone the agencies had sent were too polished looking.
He asked if the girl he'd used might be interested. When he called me, he asked if I know anyone else... Since they were paying actual money (something miserable, like 80 bucks apiece) I brought my sister along instead of any of my friends. We never had much pocket money!
The art director was an incredibly nice guy. He suggested that I try modelling as a career, and helped me get started. I ended up quitting college and going to Paris to try to make my fortune...

LOL! Thats pretty funny. We had a friend that was working in Tower Records who got to witness the posters being put up, torn down and thrown in the trash. When we told him we were the models he said to me "Oh. I thought you were Tod Rundgren"
As far as my pubes. I think the art director stole them.
oops. I was excited to see the poster being talked about. I didnt realize this was a zombie thread. I also didnt introduce myself. Hi all. Im Kristi. The boobless wonder.
This thread sent me down memory lane. I dug out the box of paper goodies saved over the years. I found two color Zeroxes from the photoshoot. No band members. Just me and the sis.
My sister mentioned meeting the band. I dont think I did. I might have stayed out side with my boyfriend while she went in with the photographer. I dont really remember. I have stronger memories about meeting Cheap Trick at the Starwood. That was a big thrill for me. I had crushes on all of them.
