Merry Christmas everybody ! As you surely know, Queen played 2 Christmas concerts in Hammersmith Odeon, London, UK. The first one took place on December 24th 1975, the second one was on December 26th 1979. Both concerts are excellent, and both of them are professionally filmed. Last year I shared the first concert, so now the logical next step is to share also the second Christmas concert :-) As usually, I joined multiple sources together, to get the longest and best looking version of this recording. Unfortunately this one doesn't look as good as my Hammy 75 DVD, but still, it looks MUCH better than 99% of the stuff you can find usually on YouTube :-) The sound mix is my work, do you remember my audio matrix which I created several years ago using a professional recording from the TV and an excellent audience recording ? I took this "matrix" and synchronized it to the video, I hope you like it :-) Lineage : Source 1 (*): PRO master > ? > QTV broadcast on convention > SVHS(0) > ? > DVD Source 2 (**) : PRO master > ? > bootleg DVD "Live Crazy 1979" > AviSynth > NTSC -> PAL conversion > MPG Source 3 (***) : PRO master > ? > Japanese TV broadcast > DVD > NTSC/PAL conversion, logo removal > MPG Source 4 (****) : PRO master > ? > "Absolute Greatest" bonus videos > FLV > AVI > MPG Track list: 1. Also this DVD uses my matrix as the audio track, so also all problems with the matrix appear here also. But anyway, these problems are so minor, that I don't see them as "distracting". I hope you will see it the same way :-) Big thanks to brianswig and to the person who shared here the Japanese TV broadcast (sorry I don't remember who it was) DO NOT SELL. DO NOT RE-ENCODE. IF YOU UPLOAD THIS TO YOUTUBE, UPLOAD IT UNTOUCHED - YOUTUBE WILL CONVERT IT AUTOMATICALLY ! NEVER MAKE AVI / MKV OUT OF MY DVDs. And please - don't forget to seed ! OK I am getting an error - The requested torrent is not registered with the tracker :-( Can anybody tell me what is the CORRECT tracker address and the correct METHOD for uploading torrents on this tracker ? Anyway , it should work via DHT ? |

Thank you very much. It seems to be working allright. The tracker adress is the same as the other downloads, so that should be Okay. Cheers Per |

Yes, the tracker probably needs only a few minutes for refreshing . Anyway, sorry for the slow upload, but you ALL will get it, I promise |

Very hard to say - I have most of the existing videos, but if you mean all videos which I "made better" by synchronizing better audio sources or by joining multiple sources together, the list is pretty short. There would be things like Rainbow 74, Hammersmith Odeon 75 (shared here already), Hyde Park 76 (even when it has pretty bad quality), Earls Court 77 )shared here already), Houston 77 (I'm not sure if I shared this already) , Hammersmith Odeon 79 (sharing right now), St. Paul 80 (speed correction & correcting the track order), Paris 80, Milton Keynes (without overdubs), Stuttgart 84 and a few videos which you will find shared here during next months |

Thank you very much Pittrek for this awesome share!! ... and Happy New Year to everybody!! :-) |
Indo77 01.01.2011 15:05 |
Is the film-look intentional or is this how the footage appears from the sources? I have an NTSC VHS and PAL DVD and the picture on those would appear more fluid (although poorer quality) |
joesilvey 01.01.2011 17:18 |
THANKS, pittrek for the great share... and thanks as well to you, JamMonkey for the mediafire upload... couldn't get the torrent to work with BitLord for some reason (gave me a tracker error)... |
brians wig 01.01.2011 17:35 |
Oh no. Has Peter de-interlaced it? Come on Dude - get out of that AWFUL habit. De-interlaced material looks SHIT! |
Indo77 03.01.2011 05:39 |
So this is an interlaced issue - the film effect? |

Great show and the quality is good...I've burned it to a DVD but it freezes at around 14:26 minutes when Freddie starts his solo of Death on two legs...is it a known issue or just a bad luck? |

Go on, download it, play it back on your TV set and see how crap it really is. I'll admit the sound is good though. |
