If anyone has this recording please share it with us. Of course what gig I mean is 12/22/77, the last show of the NA News of the World Tour. Apparently a soundboard copy of the shows exists but I'd even be happy with an audience recording. From the reviews it seems like an awesome gig...
Thanks

How's 'Propery of Queen Productions' for you?
Naw that is one from earlier in the year from the Races tour. The one I am looking for and dying to hear is the last gig of the News of the World Tour from 12/22/77. This concert seems to have been really special as Freddie emerged from Santa's sack at the end of the show and many people joined Queen on stage in costumes.
I'd really like to hear a recording of this concert so PLEASE whoever has it...stop hoarding

I fully share your emotions because I'd like to hear this show too. It's actually on top of my list of the "known to exist but not available" recordings.
It's in the hands of the people who have this recording to share it, or not... Until now those people have always decided to not share and I'm afraid there isn't much we can do about it.
Your request will not change that.
Sometimes a collector suddenly decides to share whatever stuff he has and that's all we can hope for....
I've heard about Manchester '79 and Ally Pally '79 too... Hearing those wouldn't be bad either (or the Crazy tour recordings by Jim ...).
On the bright side in 2011 we'll have Providence '74 :-)
I'd love to hear those Crazy Tour recordings too...maybe even more than this Inglewood recording...but nonetheless, all of them are on my Top Wanted Bootlegs list.
How'd you hear about Providence '74 being shared in 2011? This is great news.
A lot is happening in the collecting world outside of Queenzone. In this case it's in the next batch of shows to come from Dan Lampinski, the fellow who taped Boston 76. But this one won't be nearly as good quality, because he hadn't acquired his good gear yet.
I would love to hear an outstanding quality show during the News Of The World Tour from Dan... I wouldn't mind another A Day At The Races show, hopefully from New York or Uniondale.

Providence 27/04/74
Boston 30/01/1976
The Providence show will be uploaded on dime in 2011 (probably). It will not sound great like the Boston'76 show though, since Dan used other more primitive equipment then.
It's only in the fall of 1974 that he started using the equipment that produced those amazing recordings that have been shared over the last year.

Oh, is it THAT time of year again? ; )
He upgraded his gear in the late summer or early autumn. His high quality '74 recordings are from November and December, and this show was April. Listen to his recording of ELP from July... it's not nearly as good as the others.. it's just another 70s audience recording.. link
Oh right, thanks for that, Sir GH - I didn't realise. .
But "Listen to his recording of ELP from July". Awwww, do I have to?? Couldn't I just take your word for it or something, lol?
