For Richard Orchard to make his Basic Editor work so I don't have to choose between Queenzone and my new iPad which makes me absurdly happy. It's one of the coolest things I've ever bought tech wise. Probably the coolest. Also, World Peace (i.e. iPads for Iran, North Korea and Hezbollah), and an end to hunger (African children to get iPads as well). PS. Snow tires and for my hockey team to win a |

This Christmas, I hope I am granted the strength to tell people to fuck off when it's appropriate; instead of being some ever-dependable dope that's being taken advantage of by a growing circle of morons. |

@Zebonka12 Why do you have to wait til Christmas to do that? Do it NOW. |

As of late, my outspoken self has come out and it's easier for me to tell people to "fuck off". |

I dunno, a while ago I decided I was too young to be railing against the world all the time, so I decided to cheer up a bit. It made me feel like a sell-out, but for a while it was working. I'm slowly discovering that just being nice all of the time isn't all that's required to fix one's situation. In fact, I actually made a better impression on people when I was constantly grumpy and critical, because at least then they could count on my honesty. I'm trying to find a middle-ground. It's fun, actually. |
Donna13 07.12.2010 22:23 |
Oh, sorry, I thought this was the "personal" thread. Ha. Oh, well. I will combine my two posts. I have a terrible cut on my right thumb and am waiting for that to heal. You know, you can't do much in my condition, but I keep doing stuff anyway, and keep re-injuring my thumb. For Christmas, I would like to have the energy to make some old fashioned cookies. I've got the ingredients. Just need the patience and of course I will have to put a plastic glove on my right hand. Other than that, snow would be nice. |

So it's good to hear you're considering all that and the impact on your life and general happiness. Good luck with all that. :) |

It's a work in progress. As I told a friend of mine; perfection is a process, not a result. |

If we're to take the materialistic interpretation of "Christmas Wish List" then I have to say this tops mine. link Played one in a shop, now I fucking want one. Don't really care how I get it; trouble is that people here are basically retards about selling it at a realistic price. Australian shops will charge twice what you can probably find one for in the US. |

Well it is Christmas so... 1. All Nato and alliance troops out of Afghanistan. 2. For the UK student tuition fees legislation to be thrown out of the house of lords. 3. Judge Baltasar Garcon to be re-instated to the Spanish high court. 4. The Spanish constitution to be changed to end right wing dominance of the judiciary. 5. For LUI XIAOBO to be released from detention in Chinese prison. 6. For the Chilean mine disaster survivors to be given life pensions and very fast cars of their choice. 7. An end to the euro which has been a millstone around the necks of all european economies during the credit crisis. 8. An end to Bullfighting in Spain. 9. For the ban on UK fox hunting not to be repealed. And on a personal note... For my mother to recover fully from her back op. To visit my Japanese friends in 2011. .and a Fender Telecaster Guitar. |
