Man, if they could release the entire hammersmith 79 concert in such quality, i would buy it right away. In Dvd quality of course(or even better blu-ray). Thank you for the links :)
Wow!
Many of us did not get the opportunity to hear Queen live during this era, so if Queen Productions release this sort of material then it would be fantastic. It's been a while since I've had that feeling to rush down to the record store the day something is released, but this next release could be it!
I check this site for frequently for Queen news (& gossip :). It's a pity a lot of forums have become negative. Understandable to some degree, but it's nice to see a positive thread; like this one.
The version of Dreamer's Ball is a beaute. I like the way they are throwing teasers on the internet, rather than just doing press releases. It's a little reminiscent of how the 1st single was always a teaser of the album to come.
Pittrek, only want to show the quality of this gigs if remastered it.
Was very difficult find all of them (:

I did purchase the Absolute Greatest book with CD's and downloaded the videos legit.
I made a DVD of just the 70s tracks and it looks pretty fine.
I also re-edited a DVD of Hammersmith 79 using the two videos from the download and Pittreks Matrix PCM audio.
The quality is good on these clips, but still nowhere near as good as the master.
I must add I consider this material almost public domain rather than official though, IMHO
By the way, I was at the Hammersmith gig, so it's quite special to me.
