The Millionaire Waltz
Cool Cat
My Baby Does Me
Get Down Make Love
Dragon Attack
Breakthru
...and of course, Under Pressure and Another One Bites The Dust.
Hmm, I recently listened to the bass in Love Of My Life, it's really beautiful, very playful.
Is it the best bass? I don't know, it's really a matter of opinion.
There are some really good basslines, so it's hard to choose.
Oh and just like Wiley, the outro of Sail Away Sweet Sister is really beautiful.

Please don't forget These Are The Days of Our Lives... it's understated but clearly a voice of its own. John is a fucking phenomenal player.
Other nods: You And I, You're My Best Friend, No One But You, ...hell even Pain Is So Close To Pleasure has some odd (and therefore appreciated) melodies.
But,... my all time fave...and one i use for ear tuning to Ab...
Somebody to Love.
It's a "busy" line like YMBF, but it's hella awesome. John must have listened to quite a bit of James Jamerson/Stevie Wonder...
Two songs come to mind, since they include delicate bass playing:
Sail Away Sweet Sister (intro and ending)
The Show Must Go On (intro)
John was a genius. Simply beautiful.
Under Pressure, Liar, Father to Son, IGSM
live 81 UP and Keep youself Alive Intro in particular
live 82 Dragon Attack, Back Chat MK Bowl
86 TYMD Wembley got the crowd going this one.
Its a Dragon Attackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk !! The incredible thing is that the Hollywood remix removes all the great bass from the song.I wonder if they told John before or after!!??
Almost every song during the 70's has amazing bass bits..
So, besides the obvious choices, I suggest a deeper listening to the bass (and drums) of The Loser In The End, specially the 2nd half of the song...
;)
