Since Pittrek posted mediafire links to the 4 songs, I decided to come out of hiding! I took the 4 songs, made some minor edits, EQ'd two of the tracks (Born To Rock And Roll and In My Defense), and remastered them to make them somewhat listenable: Unfortunately, this is an MP3 share (because there's no FLAC version to my knowledge), but it's better than nothing!
Freddie's voice is in AMAZING shape throughout (like outsinging Cliff Richard on his OWN songs)! LOL
Set-list:
1. Time (Studio Version + editing)
2. It's In Everyone Of Us
3. Born To Rock And Roll
4. In My Defense
ENJOY!!!

hope you success Peter, that'd really be amazing!
btw, many tks for the share above !
I do have it in lossless form, on a tape acquired in the early 1990s, but its the same high generation sound (hissy). But "Time" is not part of the original recording, it's fake i believe here as well! I make a new transfer from the tape and post it here on Sunday
Thanks a lot MIklos, if you have time maybe we could finish also our unfinished business ? :-)
BTW I agree that Time is fake, it sounds like the album version overdubbed with audience cheering, I'm sorry I didn't write it in the original thread, I simply extracted a zip file found on my external HD and uploaded its contents without checking it ;-(
"Time" is definately a fake - fortunately a blatantly obvious one.
I too have it from a tape in the early 90's, but the disc it's been on for the last 13 years is one of those that has a paper label which no one knew any better about using back then!
I've ripped the disc using EAC and there's a couple of missing samples on each track - but what the heck, they seem to play back fine to me! link
Hi Greg, thanks for this! Unfortunately decoding MP3 to WAV and then re-encoding to MP3 loses more data than the original MP3 files. Even though your source is lossy it would still be worth sharing these as flacs if you stil have the WAVs you made.

yes ... IF he decoded it to wav - i think (depending on the software you use) you don't have to do it necessarily. but many thanx to your efforts anyway, greg!
and: could someone please upload it to any server? i don't use torrents. thanx in advance!
ha-jo
pittrek wrote: Hey people, did you actually notice that brianswig shared a lossless version ?
sure ... but it means shitty sound either way. and: has he done what greg did, i.e. correcting pitch and eq'ing?
