Thank you very much, Jam Monkey! I'm truly amazed nobody replied as yet. This should become a sticky, but I guess if it did, your mediafire account would end up just as DaveRFuller's youtube one. :) Cheers, Ogre- |

If you're including "rumoured" tracks, you may as well add "Let me In (Your Heart Again)" which was confirmed by Greg at convention about 5 years ago. I think it was the last convention at Prestatyn when he publically announced during his archive session he'd listened to it a few nights earlier... |

awesome, JamMonkey! thanks for organizing this great info and posting the links... |
pittrek 04.11.2010 10:57 |
Wonderful idea, but I would prefer a better formatting with more details you know about each recording :-) Maybe starting something like link could be better , what do you think ? |
GinjaNinja 04.11.2010 11:34 |
Great work JM, but I think your post has been truncated, as it seems to be missing AKOM onwards. |

GinjaNinja wrote: Great work JM, but I think your post has been truncated, as it seems to be missing AKOM onwards. Hi GN, it ends before AKOM as this is part one. He says more to follow! So far JM this is fantastic, thanks for keeping the demo idea going strong. |

JamMonkey, this is a fantastic idea. I am in the process of organising all my Queen tracks in iTunes, so that I can delete duplicates and identify which versions of songs I have accumulated over these many years. I use the following website to identify which version of a song I have (queenpedia.com) and your list will be very helpful too. Is it worth contacting the owner of QueenPedia to see if they want to centralise all this info on their site. I still have the PC-game 'the eYe' and would like to extract the many fantastic remixes from the game. Does anyone know how to do this? |
GinjaNinja 04.11.2010 17:23 |
If you want to get the songs from the eYe discs, just load them into your computer and iTunes should import them. Weren't there a lot of mixes made for the eYe that never made it onto the game? I think they were listed in "The Art of Queen: The eYe" but no details were included. Does anyone know anything more about these? Interesting tracks those JM. Regarding the "Dragon Attack (Instrumental)", is it significantly different from the version on "The eYe" disc? I know the drum solo is remixed but are there any other differences? |

seagull wrote: I still have the PC-game 'the eYe' and would like to extract the many fantastic remixes from the game. Does anyone know how to do this? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's just standard wav files on the CDs and you should have no trouble ripping them into your PC like a normal CD. Be aware that some songs are truncated and there's a nasty glitch in the middle of "You Don't Fool Me" (or at least there is on mine!) |

You And I (Convention Recording) Another mostly instrumental track, but this time with some backing vocals present. This version doesn’t fade out like the album, so there is some extra material present at the end. After the track proper ends there is some ad-libbed piano and drums. All Dead All Dead (Convention Recording) An instrumental version of this track, very close to the album version. At the end of the track there are a few seconds of silence and then a short piano coda, which obviously never made it on to The News Of The World; it’s a short but beautiful moment that adds a lot to the emotion of the song.Excellent. So who's going to get them out there? |

Is it just me, or are other people having trouble opening the Mediafire links?? Tim |
tcc 05.11.2010 07:32 |
You need to copy the link from the back to the front (stop at the http word) and paste it to your http line. |

Jam Monkey, re: >Great King Rat (De Lane Lea Demo) 6:07 >Status: Shared >Link: link This is an awesome resource - some cracking material here wich deserves a proper home. Incidentally, though, here appears to be an error with the .flac file when decoding using Traders Little Helper - could this just be a fault with TLH or is it the .flac? |

Great stuff! Can't see any omissions, and apart from the absence of descriptions for all tracks, it's looking pretty damn good so far. Hopefully those website plans will come to fruition. :) |

The media fire links to BBC session 2 are wrong. They are links to Dog With a Bone and Face it Alone. |

Many, many thanks! An early christmas present!! But Holly is right... The BBC2 connections links are wrong... just like the rest of the BBC sessions.. (I am not complaining!!) |

Which one would you like to hear?Everything on your list that hasn't circulated, but particularly the two songs I highlighted. Back To Storm and the related piano instrumental may be interesting too. Why must it be a choice? Just give for the sake of giving. |

Is it just me or have all Jam Monkey's posts been removed? Where they should be I can just see blank white space, but this hasn't happened to anyone else's posts! Am I going slightly mad? |
The Real Wizard 12.11.2010 09:31 |
At least there's a .doc file still available a few posts above.. |
GinjaNinja 12.11.2010 10:09 |

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you know that I''ll be sharing a couple of tracks mentioned in this thread soon. I am away from home right now, but keep an eye on the announce forum over the next couple of days. I'm also working on version 2 of the demo guide, but I need your help! I am sure there is much more information out there then I am aware of, so please if you know anything new then get in touch. |
therhyeman 17.11.2010 06:36 |
No, you're not going mad - ALL of Jam Monkey's posts are blank except for the last one. Why is this?? Tim |
tcc 17.11.2010 07:31 |
The files in JM's mediafire folder are also no longer available. |
