This subject has gone very quiet, then I get a newsletter from QP accouncing another goddam singles box. Greg Brooks supposedly said at the convention that DVD release (or at least the release date) was 'imminent'.....
We can only hope for a XMAS release of the DVD I guess. Anyone know any more?
Maybe a new re-release of Live Killers, but then with some bonus songs that you can download ;-))
But for the Hammermsith 1975: Pittrek made a fantastic DVD version.
QProductions really has to come with a BIG bang to make it better than Pittrek's version ;-)
Hammermsith 1979 would be the end, a dream for me and many others, I'm sure!
I would assume they are holding this back so it will be a Universal release.
They can hold this back as long as they like for all I care. I've never really been fond of this show, and cant understand what the fuss is all about.
Hopefully Universal will tell them that a 60min concert and a 10min interview with Bob Harris is not enough, and to get some better extras on there!!!
Is it interesting to me there is a video see what a fool I've been seven seas of rhye and God save The Queen from this show actually, or this three video was not filmed ?
Is anyone really going to bother buying it though after all the versions that we have available.
Let's face it, no one trusts that a decent quality product will be issued from the Queen catalogue any longer so we're all better off relying on what we have through the generosity of the collecting community.
Let's just do what our Continental bretherin do and go on strike against the powers that be!
Ive actually heard that also, that Queen were delaying until they were well set into their new record company... For extras, they should add more footage from the Rainbow and possibly Hyde Park??? Or live tracks from their live album Queen was planning to release back in 1974-75?
I was hoping (maybe in vain) for a true 5.1 audio of Hammersmith and bonus features like Rainbow 31/3/74 - Son & Daughter and Modern Times R&R ..... and more tracks if they exist.
I'm still waiting for John Deacon's Solo Album: "I was the Walrus,...I mean, not in the Queen sense...the other guy had big teeth, but i was the mysterious one, hence the obvious reference to some lads from Liverpool"
...with a title like THAT...it's bound to be EPIC!!!

HILARIOUS,.....if only for a second. Cause after that second... u think... u know.. it might be true!!

Ah but here's the catch: It's only going to be released on glorious upconverted Blu-ray presented in 1080i25 MPEG-2, DTS High-Resolution 96/24 surround sound!
And it'll be released by the same people behind the Blu-rays of the Highlander TV series! ;-)

Pffff .... if so, better get a bootleg of "crazy tour, and although it has poor quality sound, gives away a thousand kicks to any concert," Live killers "

Me too, I still hope although a certain hopelessness, something new from the old Queen, especially of the tour "tour crazy, but now we know that Brian May has master audio tracks (unknown quality), many concerts mythical such as Newcastle (12/04/1979)
More Crazy Tour NOW!
