Hi!
Can anyone help me to get the video of all 3 songs from this concert??
1. We Will Rock You (Queen+Five)
2. Tie Your Mother Down (Queen+Five)
3. With A Little Help From My Friends (SAS Band+Brian, one of his strings breaks!)
I've been looking for the footage, but it isn't available on YouTube, and I didn't find any way to get it!!
Can anybody upload it on YouTube, or give me a link to this video?
Cause I would love to see this performance!!
Thanks!

Really? If anyone has TYMD, that would be great!
By the way, who was the musicians, playing with Brian and Roger on this gig? I'm pretty sure about Spike on keyboards, and probably Steve Stroud on bass... Does anybody know exacly??
Capital Radio's 'Party In The Park' took place on Sunday July 9th in London's Hyde Park. Tickets had sold out within hours of going on sale, to see such groups on the bill as Bon Jovi, The Corrs, Steps, Savage Garden, Westlife, Ronan Keating, Back Street Boys, Elton John plus many others, 34 acts in all.
Brian and Roger joined Five for their set, making a dramatic entrance halfway through 'We Will Rock You'. They were then joined by the SAS band including Spike Edney, Jamie Moses, Steve Barnacle and Zoe and Susie on backing vocals and belted out 'Tie Your Mother Down'. This went down a storm with the now rain soaked audience.
The whole event was broadcast by Capital Radio and Channel 4 television throughout the day. Unfortunately the Channel 4 coverage was very poor and was continually being interupted by other programmes.
Luckily, Five's set started around 2pm so the whole of 'We Will Rock You' was shown before going off air. Roger had made some comments about the event which were printed in the papers the next day. He was at the event with Debbie, Tigerlily and Rufus for most of the day.
Brian attended the event with Anita and his children Jimmy, Louisa and Emily, and stayed til the end. Brian joined the SAS band finale to perform 'With A Little Help From My Friends'. Lionel Ritchie, Martine McCutcheon, Marty Pellow and Suggs joined Brian and the band on vocals.
Money from the 100,000 tickets sold went to the Princes Trust charity.
Brian also joined Five live on stage at The Route Of Kings concert again in Hyde Park on Sunday 23rd July.
GT, thanks alot for the information!! It's great!
B&R appeared halfway through WWRY? Does it mean that WWRY was a playback and B&R were just miming it?(like on Brit Awards or Millenium Dome) Or they were playing live over the playback?
Anyway, I would like to see the video...
They played live over the backing track, as they had also done on the TOTP performance.
But does anyone know if the Millennium Dome performace *was* truly completely mimed, or if it was partially live? No-one has ever seen the Japanese-broadcast video beyond certain elite collectors...
