Maybe this question was answered here before...but what is bothering me is :
When I compare the WE WILL ROCK YOU (slow) in the WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS documentary (us tv 1980) with the japanse broadcast (japanese tv 1979) I'd noticed that the footage is different , the camera angles.
Example :
At the start of WWRY JAPANESE tv version : Fred enters stage on superman from a camera from the audience, cleary silouhets of people can be seen in front of the camera.
Now the same shot but from the japanese tv broadcast : Fred also enters teh stage , but now the shots come from the upper right of the arena, followed a shot from the upper rear of the arena (above the audience)
I do believe that the shots from WATC documentary is from this or a japanese show , because of the flying paper thrown by the audience is seen also in the 1982 live in tokyo show.
So did the americans use a different edited tape of the show?
Any conclusion ?

Really ? Well feel free to correct it :-) Because that would mean that the audience recordings are incorrectly labelled.
Especially I'd be curious what can you say about LOML
