Hi All
I cant believe how dense I am, I thought I was a big Queen fan, and I thought that there was nothing I didn't know.
I have just purchased all the Queen albums on Itunes, and when I started syncing the albums, this is when I had my eurika moment. A night at the opera, '39 is actually track 39 in track order ????
Has anybody else noticed this or had an similar eurika moment.
I freely admit that I read about it on a early Queen fan website in 1995 and was like, "Oh, that's cool!"
I DID figure out myself that "Brighton Rock"'s title has several meanings. I used to just think it was referring to the town Brighton and the song was a rock tribute for it (fairground sounds, etc), as well as being the album home of Brian's guitar solo. Years later, one of my crew came into the theatre with a stick of candy like a candy cane, only not curved. I joked, "They too lazy to curve candy canes now?" She replied, "No. This is Brighton Rock." I was like, "What? Like the song?" It was then that I figured out that Brian was also referring to the candy.

Wow! I had no idea. I think that's awesome as it shows how clever Queen were (not that they were the only artist to do something like this). Thanks for this!

Last October, me and the mrs went to Bushmill's distillery in Belfast, Northen Ireland. There, she bought me (apart from a whisky, of course) a bar of whisky flavoured chocolate. We forgot all about it. However, yesterday, whilst cleaning out some stuff at home, I stumbled across the bag with the chocolate in it. I thought it would be off as it was bought a year ago, but when I checked the use-by date, it was 22/09/10. And yesterday's date? 22/09/10, of course! Now that, my friend, is creepy.....but in the most amazing way lol
For the record, I had no idea '39 was track 39....I didn't think about it at all!
