like with the Ricky Hatton story
I personally feel that it that is what they want to do then why shoudl the press crucify them for it, its upto them if they want to take drugs its their choice after all
Maybe it something i have only recently noticed but was the drug taking of celebs/famous people in the press a lot back in the 70's and 80s and what was the reaction of the press to it
Celebrities are usually perceived as role models for their young fans. If their drug taking is condoned, the young fans may take it as normal and follow suit.
add the fact that it was class A's he was snorting up his nose and he has no complaints when he gets nabbed by the press.
Frank Bruno was the same once his career bit the dust,he wasnt the first and he wont be the last to get stung

It was the same back then too. Scandal always sells. And drug taking "celebrity's" are top of the list...........
^esp in The Sun and the naughty celeb in question was called Freddie
[the week long centre page spreads of Paul Prenter telling of Freddie's 'misdeeds' comes to mind]
i had forgotten about Paul Prenter selling his story to the sun, I read in Jims book that Freddie was mad about that
Is there a link anywhere to the story in the sun?
its bad, like all drung takeing is, but people concentrate on celebs takeing druns more than ur every day person cus they have the spot light on them more rather than a normal person,

same, i dont take any illegal drung tho, i take ones i get told to have my the hospital, and i cant pronounce the names of them, one of them is something acid, which is a bit scary but hey i can still take it :) so yeah,
First of all..
Celebrity or not, it is a human being's choice what to do with their body. As long as one is educated as to what substance they are using, I don't have an issue with it. All the naturals are good with me. :)
Celebrities can get away with murder if they wanted to because money talks louder than morals or ethics...sad truth. Look at Paris Hilton. That bitch could get away with one hundred needles shoved in her arm AND 5 8 balls shoved up her ass but no. Her mommy and daddy have her covered.
