Hello all. I am an avid Queen and Queen-related collector in Canada. I am looking to obtain one of those NOTW Robots that came out in 1977. If you know of anyone who might even be remotely interested in selling one or know of someone who might know of someone, I'd like to hear from you please. Feel free to email me at webby56@golden.net with ANY info you could provide...thanks in advance.
Yep, I was about to post it as well... Stunning, never seen such a well preserved one.
Sadly the shipping rate from UK to Canada might be higher than the actual sale price...

Getting it to Canada is easier that you might think. Fly Air Transat to Gatwick. Pack into your suitcase one of those giant bags that the soil companies drop off on your yard, similar to these: link
Also pack some foam chunks and bubble wrap if you have room or you can buy bubble wrap in the UK (at Staples). Take a tape gun too that they use to tape large boxes.
Before flying home, warp the robot into 3 or 4 layers of bubble wrap all the way around, mark it well with "Fragile", "Do not squeeze or Bump", etc. Then place it into the bag and then tape the bag so it is closed at the top of the bag and the handles sticking out. The robot is only about 6 pounds so all of this will EASILY be within your weight limit for checked oversize baggage. (20 kgs.) You will need to get advance authorization and sign a waiver that Air Transat will not be responsible for damage. I went over a few years ago and brought "Little Freddie" on Facebook back to Canada from Mottingham, England.
If you need any more tips, feel free to email me at webby56@golden.net but you might wanna act soon, as I am seriously thinking of going after the robot that is currently for sale on Ebay....then I'd have 2 of them. :)

Well, we found one for you. And now your asking us to buy it or else you "might"?
Also, you left out the part about having your buddy video you trying to get the "tape gun" thru security and trying to explain it's just for your "robot".
Yes, I'm a little confused by the whole thing too....it's almost like he's talking to himself with the way the thread reads lol :)
and £3-4k for the damn thing at auction....what utter bullshit. I knew someone last year who was selling his for £500 in NM condition. He only paid £5 for it originally.
If anyone actually does fork out the few grand for it, it really does show that some have more dough than sense.
