I have not shared or traded this one before, but as promised..............
Unknown (low) generation tape TDK D90 > Sony CFD-50L > Sound blaster Live Line in > WAV > Flac Level 8
Single Flac - 39MB (mediafire) 15 mins approx.
I traded for this tape over thirty years ago and I'm surprised it still plays!
This was the best I could do with basic equipment.

I'm sorry, but I have to point out... it clips at the loudest spots. Is your tape like this, or did you have the levels set a bit too high for the transfer?
The distortion isn't horribly bad, but if it could be improved simply with a new tape transfer, then it'd be that much better for everyone. This copy is 15 of the 21 total minutes, and much of it will be useful for the Oxford merge (now using three different copies of the soundcheck). But if you don't want to go through the trouble of transferring the tape again, I understand. We'll make do.

So thanks again. Does anybody here have The Ultimate Rarities Collection ? It should have an edited version of the soundcheck in best quality . Can somebody confirm this ?

I have the original silvers for the ultimate collection1,2 & 3 but there is no mention of an un-edited soundcheck at Oxford, these compiltaions do get things wrong though, can you advise where you got the information from & I will re check
