As I suggested here : link I am going to upload ALL the available concerts. Today, let's start with 1973. Most of the links are still working, so there's no need to reupload most of the things yet. This is what is still working : 1973-09-13 - Golders Green Hippodrome, London, UK : link 1973-11-17 Stadium, Liverpool. UK : link 1973-11-20 New Theatre, Oxford, UK : link + multi-source merge by SirGH : link 1973-11-26 Opera House, Manchester, UK : link 1973-11-27 Town Hall, Birmingham, UK : link 1973-11-29 Colston Hall, Bristol, UK : see post below |

Band : Queen Venue : Colston Hall, Bristol, UK Date : 29. November 1973 Lineage : AUD > ? > CD(x) > WAV > FLAC > WAV > Cool Edit Pro (remastering, hiss reduction, speed reduction, re-tracking) > WAV > FLAC (TLH) Tracklist : 1. Procession (taped intro) 1:02 2. Father To Son 5:48 3. Son And Daughter 7:18 4. Ogre Battle 4:44 5. Hangman 6:06 6. Keep Yourself Alive 4:14 7. Liar 7:05 8. Jailhouse Rock 2:00 9. Stupid Cupid 0:59 10. Jailhouse Rock (reprise) 0:39 11. Big Spender 1:03 12. Bama Lama Bama Loo 1:51 Total length : 42:49 This is not Gypsy Eye's "Prosession", but a different, lower-gen copy of the same source. I have remastered it so now it plays in the correct speed and in slightly better quality. Freddie initiates the bit of Stupid Cupid during Jailhouse Rock, but without the segue into Be Bop A Lula as he usually would. He also references the classic "Shake, Rattle and Roll." He once again does his tribute to Little Richard, adding a few lyrics of Tutti Frutti to Bama Lama Bama Loo. Download link : link Enjoy |

I like it very much Dane, you have a great graphic talent! Maybe you could use your font on it to match the era? Might not quite fit though. Maybe a slightly more purple hue would be better. I'd love to see some more like this :) |

GodSaveTheQueen Stefano Hi, I think it might be better to channel our energies to reupload those links which are not working to megaupload etc and to seed the existing torrents for the respective threads. |

I'm glad you like it folks, I really don't know WHEN I'll continue with 1974, I'm not sure if I'll have internet connection during the next few weeks, but we'll continue in the absolutely worst case in the end of October |

TO GinjaNinja; Great label! I'll be using it myself! |
The Real Wizard 30.08.2010 15:52 |
As great as these labels look, the sticker will destroy the CD over time. The glue will seep through and attack the data from the inside out. Within a few years it'll be all digital noise, and eventually unplayable. I have thousands of burned CDs, many of which are over 10 years old, and the only ones that won't play are the ones with labels on them. |
GinjaNinja 30.08.2010 17:42 |
Damn. CD printers and Sharpies work fine though right? :) Sorry for destroying your CD's :P |

Sir GH wrote: Cesar, I've seen your footage of Madrid 79 on youtube, and it's the best I've seen yet. Any chance you could contribute.. ? Hi Bob recently I found than the snow version of the re-broadcast is much better and complete (my copy has the interviews cutted out), so , check at: link I also want the new snow re-broadcast version as I know is better than my copy. Maybe someone here has it. If so, would be great could be share it. Cesar |
The Real Wizard 26.10.2010 00:35 |
It's hard to tell how much better the Snow version is, if at all. When was the footage re-broadcast? And what's different between the two versions? |
pittrek 26.10.2010 00:56 |
My version comes from the SnowProd rebroadcast version, it has the TV logo removed link |

Problem solved, then ! |

This is a tremendous project Pittrek, and one that is perfect for me. I've always been put off collecting live shows because of the sheer volume of them, so having everything in one place is encouraging me to finally listen to these shows. I've really enjoyed the 1973 shows, and I can't wait for 1974! I am sure everyone agrees this is a really important contribtion and something that is making QZ the place to be. I think it goes to show if you stop moaning and start doing we can keep the Queen legacy alive ourselves. Thanks Pittrek! |

Kind of hijacking the thread here, but I was very impressed by this. It's from a Snow Producciones release, with a "Vocal Restoration" of the Golders Green show. Have a listen: link |

pittrek wrote: That sounds great ! Any idea if he did all tracks ? I'd really like to know HOW did he do it ? Yes, I think he did all of them, though unfortunately his source doesn't seem to be as good as the version shared here. I would assume he used some sort of spectral isolation software, akin to Sonicworx Isolate and Photosounder. With the isolated vocal, he just added reverb and amplified it slightly. I had a go at doing this myself for "Father To Son" from the same show, but I failed dismally! Maybe I'll give it another go. I'll see if I can get hold of the whole thing and share it. |
CESAR BELTRAN M 27.11.2010 19:40 |
