Nice, it's worth getting this version with good sound.
PAL 4:3 aspect ratio. No nasty QTV logo, they tried to remove if with software!
Dimes download speed a very quick 1.00 MB/s !!!
I am amongst the seeders there.

But who has a master copy from the TV broadcast?
Hmmm.
I bet the source was an mpeg2 file to start with, so this means more compression has been added to the picture.
So much for Dime's high-quality source policy!
Of course, the way round it is to just not publicise the lineage....

Judging by the picture / sound quality I would estimate this was recorded on a dvd recorder direct from the chalet cable feed.
Rather like copying a vhs tape through the RF rather than AV.

When channel 5 started, the chalet feeds immediatly suffered from ghosting and a thick shimmering "ghost line" that constantly waggled its way from left to right, which ruins the picture for me.
Only now that the convention has moved away from pontins has that waggling line gone, but the terrible quality of the images remains. That said, they don't show anything un-official anymore anyway.
Jacky now also takes the un-released recordings she does show on DVD, so that's even more of a quality drop than it used to be in the old days :(
If this recording doesn't show that ghost line, then it's sourced originally from VHS or SVHS.
I think it remains that the best copies available are sourced either from you (no QTV logos!) or someone else I know who took his SVHS recorder to every convention from 1997 and recorded everything, but these all have the QTV logo on.
