Here it is below if anybody wants to see “Many of you will have read bits and pieces on the internet about Queen leaving EMI and moving record companies. Although we are saying nothing official at this stage I felt that you should hear from us that it is true that Queen are leaving EMI after 39 years.” “Next year we start working with our new record company to celebrate Queen’s 40th anniversary and we will be announcing full details of the plans over the next 3 months. As Brian has already said Queen’s next moves will involve ‘’studio work, computers and live work’’. “ “Whilst working on this move I am also launching my son Ol Beach’s band Yellow Wire this August. Many of you will have known about Wire Daisies which was Ol’s band with Treana Morris (who Roger discovered some time back). Ol decided 2 years ago to branch out on his own to write, record, play and produce his own album using the band name Yellow Wire, a name that he got from a masseuse in South Africa when he was down there supporting Robbie Williams (more of that story in Ol’s bio on yellowwire.co.uk! ). The album is now finished and the first single ‘’Where is the Summer’’ will be released on 23rd August, you can click here to check it out.” “Obviously being Ol’s dad I think the album is great – I hope you do to. Brian was certainly very complementary. He sent me an email saying ‘’I like this a lot. Ol’s singing? Nice’’ You can’t get much better than that! So give some of the tracks a listen here and if you like them register here to find out more and by all means post your comments on QOL , the Yellow Wire site or any of the related community sites.” “We will be having a draw from all those names that register here on the Yellow Wire site between now and the end of September. The prize will be dinner for two either in London or Montreux (all travelling expense paid) with Ol and myself where we can discuss Yellow Wire, kite surfing, Queen, life in general or whatever else takes our fancy. See you winners there!” Jim |

Thanks for posting that Freddiefan91. So, do you want to start speculating on what the 40th anniversary commemorations might be?!! Did you register on the Yellow Wire site? You can take me to Montreux! Cheers. |

Mah... onestly I am quite surprise reading his e-mail. It doesn t give me a good feeling...because the point of the e-mail is about his son basically.. Personally I think it has nothing to do with Queen. |
Mr Mercury 11.08.2010 07:34 |
^ Thats exactly what I thought. It was nice to see that JB has put his head around the corner and popped in to say hello at least... |
freddiefan91 11.08.2010 07:38 |
IF they are going to tour perhaps even John Deacon would join in but that might be a wish too far |

The message which I also got by email, has clearly been sent by Jim Beach to promote his son's band. He has revealed nothing that we didn't already know. |

pittrek 11.08.2010 10:38 |
Because now it's Cosmos and not the whole house :-) |

I've just emailed Jim Beach to tell him I'll be jamming in my room later -- maybe a bit of Zep, Sabs, Queen and Rush. I might have a bath after that, then I'll try to finish a book I'm reading by Stephen King. I would say that info. is about as interesting to Beach as his info. about his son's band is to me. |
Goodoldfashionedloverboy 11.08.2010 12:22 |
Has anybody e-mail Jim Beach? |
dsmeer 11.08.2010 12:32 |
In the early 90's there was talk about releasing different boxes all with 3 to 4 albums with all kinds of bonus stuff demo, live etc. Yes they have been fooling us for quite a long time, let's hope changing record company will at last result in something for the fans. Or do they still need more and more money. BTW Brian and Greg warned fans not to buy stuff (live cd's) from a certain Dutch dealer, guess who bought the whole collection?? |
GratefulFan 11.08.2010 15:20 |
When I see The Muppets doing an Ol Beach skit on YouTube I'll think about taking this seriously. |

pittrek wrote: Because now it's Cosmos and not the whole house :-) ++++++++++++++ I read that interview too and it seems that at some point they just changed the name of the song. "The whole house rockin'..." is still a lyric in the song and that was probably the working title. I'm guessing they changed it to fit The Cosmos Rocks Tour and working album title. Q+PR announcd the tour and album's working title as The Cosmos Rocks on March 19th, 2008, when most or all of the album was completed. The Q+PR interview was published April 16th, where they spoke of "Whole House Rockin'". However, its likely the interview took place a few months ahead (unlike newspapers, magazine material is always researched and written months in advance, baring earth-shattering news like 9/11 or tsunamis). So, when the interview was *given*, the song was still "Whole House Rockin' ", after which time, when they needed a name for the album and tour, one idea was "Cosmos Rocks," either coming from the exact chant in the song or the chant being added after the song and album titles were finalized. |

Let's all be fair and square, guys and open up: we are all, no-one excluded, desperately waiting for Greg's new book. We're not interested in new Queen releases anymore. No, we want Greg. That is exactly what we want and need as well. Hell, bring it on. |
GratefulFan 11.08.2010 16:22 |
I've honest to goodness made one of those cut off your nose to spite your face decisions not to buy Greg's book under any circumstances due to his behaviour on this site. He is completely irritating and undeserving of any kind of reward for it. I would be willing to consider shoplifting the book however, or going over to one of your houses to read it. |
rhyeking 11.08.2010 18:12 |
Not defending or attacking either position, GF, but it's possible to seperate the man from his work. Many artists, actors and writers are complete douchbags, but they create quality works. Wagner, for instance, was antisemetic, arrogant, dishonest and generally a dick, but holy hell, his Ring cycle is operatic genius! You all know at least one piece: "Ride Of The Valkyries" I'm not saying Greg Brooks is anything other than a man doing a job, though I know many people here take issue with him. I have no problem with him. |
GratefulFan 11.08.2010 18:24 |
Exactly! That's why I am willing to shoplift it. If you don't want me to go over to your house you can just say so without hiding behind Wagner. Jeez. |
rhyeking 11.08.2010 18:46 |
"If you don't want me to come over to your house..." Come over to my house...?! What the hell are you talking about? Why are you so angry? "Hiding behind Wagner"...? What??? Wow. I'm stunned by this incoherent reaction by GF. Stunned, I tell you. |

Well I DEFINITELY WILL buy the book ! And I'm serious ! |
