What do you all think of that then?
Personally i think they are doing it for the money thats on offer, thats fine because i would do the same thing myself but i think its a good thing they are only going to collarbarate for a year because Robbie's ego will get the better of him i think
Lets face facts here. Robbie is only joining TT because his solo stuff for the past few years has been shit. And since TT are at their second peak now, it makes sense for Robbie the fame junkie to rejoin them.

I agree, although I want to note that I do think that Robbie is great. He's not as good as he once was, but when he was at his peak, he was superb. The last great song of his was IMO 'Radio'.
he needs them more than they need him.
it will all end in tears...which is unfortunate, coz i kinda liked the new "grown up" Take That without "the fat dancer" in it

That is certainly true, although I think he is far more talented than they are.

He's no longer fat! :D
A sure sign of the apocalypse?
I don't think Robbie is in it for money, since he hardly needs any. Did he even tour to promote his latest offering? Other than do a couple of album release gigs. I had a hard time believing the news when I saw them. But who knows, perhaps Robbie and Gary Barlow can come up with some decent hit singles, packaged and produced in a loudness-maximized highly-autotuned robotic modern sound. Eugh...

I wonder where you finding these "facts"? In terms of sales he is still doing great, even Rudebox got good reviews from the music press and went multiplatinum. Most fans didn't like it cuz it was a far cry from his usual style, but it was more his personal taste. Your personal tastes aside, he really doesn't need TT to sell records or sell out gigs.
The hate/love-relationship with the guys and his old manager really got to him for a long time and this is like a personal milestone for him. It's easy to say to call it a financial thing. With Robbie it purely psychological, cuz again he doesn't need the guys.
If it works then im sure it will be fantastic but I have a feeling its not going to be easy
Apparantly Robbies dad said today that Robbie's stage fright will disapear when he is on stage with the other 4

Take That had a few good singles in the past. Now they're just full of shit. REPLY:
you got to admit that Shine and Patience are 2 cracking tunes? [and this is from someone who couldnt stand 90's TT]
Jimmy Who Cares and the Non Events are getting back together, oh whoopie. Call me when it flops so I can enjoy a bit of vindication with my ham sandwich.
