Hey there, I'm an avid Queen geek..
Being a bassist in a band, I've been thinking of putting together a couple of shirts to wear onstage in honor of John Deacon's shirts onstage and on album.
SURE the average person won't get it.... but the ONE in 600,000 WILL... and that's what matters.
FIRST in the works... The "BIKE IT" Shirt...
anyone have any clue which color it was in? I'm assuming it was RED on white...but i don't have any COLOR photos from the session.
The second question is just as trivial. During the LIVE AT WEMBLEY set, at the start of RADIO GA GA, John comes out in a shirt with a TABLOID headline regarding FM.
any idea what that was? I could never read the whole thing. If it's possible it would make a lively thing to sport out of humor/tribute.

It was actually about a comedian named Freddie Starr. Google "Freddie Starr Ate My Hamster" and you'll find lots. You can even still get the shirts online.
Awesome. Thank you for clearing up that "clog in my curiosity"... some things just linger on like that...
Kinda like trying to find out what actually happened to Wasabi Funyuns,... or trying to track down "that song,...you know, the one that goes like (da da da da)..." that you never FIND!
some things just linger on, and return...in need of closure.
I appreciate it. I was certain it was something well known albeit REGIONAL. So THANK YOU. THANK YOU... I'll definitely purchase one of those.
HAHAHHAHAHAA>.... yeah, did that REALLY happen???
i've always wondered what it was with the 80's and those damn short shorts...
Hey, glad i managed to start up a topic about John. That must be a rarity up here....well... aside from the "SIGHTING" reports...
Great songwriter.. great bassist.

LOL....oh god, i can't stop laughing.
