Website DN.se is claiming that a new entry in the Guitar Hero series based on legendary British rockers Queen is on the cards.
Guitarist Brian May told the site: "We have invented a way to let the players participate in our concerts," adding, "I can't say anything more about it just yet. It's a secret."
According to the article, the game will be released some time in 2011, presumably on the usual platforms – PS3, 360 and Wii. Given that the band has already had their own version of SingStar, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Freddie Mercury and chums are planning to make the transition to the Guitar Hero brand.
More as we get it. link
Yeah, supposedly it was a slip up as he was not supposed to be discussing it.
Great news though...
Guess i'll have to go back to video games after all...
6 years without em... you can get SOO much more done ;)

Here, here!
I would love to play Sheer Heart Attack on drums.
Plus, I prefer Rock Band's drums. The bass pedal is more comfortable.
Hopefully, it will be Rockband and not Guitar Hero. Either way, I'm buying it!
Sheer Heart Attack on drums?! ARE YOU CRAZY?! hehe :)
I still can't finish I Want it All or One Vision in Expert mode! (Rockband DLC)
I am no drummer, but I have taken classes and played live a couple of times (music school presentations).
It's actually a bit frustrating when you CAN play a song in real life but struggle to play it in these games hehe :)
I wouldn't call myself a drummer but I manage quite a few Queen songs. But playing even a simple Bass-snare-base-snare on RB is fucking hard if you haven't done it before. I'll buy it for the digital Freddie alone, but if there is music in there along him, and I get to "play" it, even better!
I'm hoping that if this is real it's Rock Band: Queen not Guitar Hero: Queen (since I already own Rock Band and all the instruments).
I don't drum at all in real life, but I love RB drums. I can get through IWIA on Expert, but not One Vision. There just seems to be no rhyme or reason to the pattern! I'd really love to try Now I'm Here on drums :)
