I’m assuming you mean the Freddie demo which goes, "I didn’t get no sleep last night..."
It's only a demo, but there is a fan mash up which created a new song from it, with the Works sound, called "New York,
at last". link

Hey thats not too bad.
I was listening to the original demo of that song and thinking why dont we do a petition on,say, facebook or something and get them to release this song as a single.Maybe get Brian and Roger (and who knows maybe John as well) to lay down some new tracks to the original demo.Maybe this will get Brian back to being a Rock star, doing what he does best instead of fighting for animal rights and writing books about stereo photography and old villages.
What do you think.Should we start up a petition. After all.It was good enough for RATM plus a feww others.
A petition to have it released as a single?
Yeah, like it's EVER going to chart!
Sorry mate, but while it's a nice little song, it ain't good enough to be released as a single and never will be.
I was trying to remember where i heard him singing it because its been a while since i have but it suddenly popped into my head the other day
I think some of the song might be on the untold story but i will have to watch again to make sure
A few years ago, Smash (I think thats what name the guy that did the mash-up used) tried and failed to get his mix released officially. So Freddie's demo, even with Brian, Roger and Johns involvement would never get released. As for RATM, a big part of the reason that song did so well in that facebook campaign was down to one thing - Simon Cowell and his X-Factor drivel.....
