Hi everybody,
Being a very recent Beatle fan and having bought all their albums and compilations ( among them their stunning and visually beautiful remasters and anthology works ), I would like to state what a satisfied and happy fan I am.
According to diverse official certifications, the Beatles have sold more albums than any other artists.
The fact of frequent releases of interesting and new material since their disband has probably contributed to that. The most important factor, according to me, is the never ending positive connection and COMMUNICATION between the fans and Apple records (their record company).
The existence of a beautiful and up to date forum, owned by die hard fans which allows them to write their complains and demands, facilitates new releases. With other words : You want it all, You got it NOW! Ain't much they're asking, if you want the truth :)
The Beatles are living and WILL continue to live, thanks to the marvelous work of Apple records, where no material belongs to anyone, but is happily and peacely shared with everyone, instead.
I would like to ask YOU, dear Beatle fan, to share a minute of silence with me, in the memory of dying bands (from what I heard bands like Free, Bad company and Queen).
feck sake the beatles were an over rated boy band who where as cheesy as edam and gouda and also were manufactured and to top it off teenybopper and girly music thanks keep rockin
Wow, there is incredible ignorance in this thread. The Beatles were far from manufactured. Put on Revolver and listen to musical evolution taking place.
I would rather remain ignorant , thank you ,i have no interest in the Beatles, i don't own any of their records. Whilst on the subject though, Ringo must be one of the worst drummers in pop history, Sir Paul [Ebony&Ivory,The Frog Chorus] and the bloody Mull Of Kintyre anyone ???!!!!
I just want to clarify my response, this is a Queen Sharing The Music Announce forum, not The Beatles. I'm also a big fan of The Beatles as a band and as solo artsists. And The Beatles were an influence for Queen. This post thanking Apple Records really doesn't belong here. Whats next Liza Manelli, Hendrix, Bea Arthur?
