Was that the only 2 gigs they supported Queen for?
I would of thought that SQ were big enough themselves to of had a few staduim gigs all by themselves
I thought it was Belious Some then Big Country followed by Quo and Queen.I might be wrong ,i was there, great day the only down side was that somebody was stabbed to death in the crowd.Took 4 hours to get out of the car park, i could not care less i had just seen the best band in the world give one of the finest performances ever!! What a day !!

Although they were the first band on.Followed by Beluoise Some and then Big Country
. beluoise some was def. the first band. can't remember the order of the other two.
another interesting thing about knebworth, that was not mentioned before, is that they played dire straits "brothers in arms" complete lp in concert-loudness and everybody stood up and danced to it
from what i recall
quo were not on immediately before queen at knebworth, there was definitely at leats one band between them and queen in the running order - big country.
quo had some gig to go to in europe - part of some record breaking attempt they were doing
also quo's set was shorter at knebworth than wembley - think they only did about 45 mins at K but an hour at W
