It’s crunch time Breakthru’ites!
In less than 50 days the largest and most recognized convention in North America dedicated to the band Queen will begin.

Don’t miss out on the brilliant tribute band Celebrating Queen. They are planning a full out assault of your musical senses and will definitely rock you!
For the first time at a North American Convention Peter ‘Phoebe’ Freestone will attend and do a presentation and question and answer session. Peter as you may know was Freddie’s assistant, oh the stories he will tell us! Peter has attended the UK convention many times as well as other gatherings. If you never could get over to the other side of the pond to witness and meet Peter then this is your chance to ask him all those questions you have been dying to ask. And that only happens at Breakthru July 16-18th 2010 in Detroit.
The ever graceful and fun Jacky Smith will be in Detroit. Holder of the keys to the Queendom world! Ok maybe not all of it, but who does everyone call when they need something or have a question? Jacky of course. This is your chance to meet her, ask her questions and so on.
Get yourself ready for rare videos, brutal trivia, all things “Flash” costume contest, charity raffle and auction, evening buffet, games, contests and fun.
So come join Queen fans from Europe, the UK, all points North and South of the US, and points East and West of Canada at Breakthru The Official North American Queen Convention July 16-18th 2010 Detroit Michigan.

It is within driving distance for most people in the eastern half of the US. The one time I recall that the convention was held in Dallas Texas, the attendance was about 1/3 of what it was the previous year in Cleveland.
some would find a reason no matter where it was held
fact remains this years convention is going to be HOT and one NOT to be missed

Come join the Miracle Express as it steams onward towards Detroit for Breakthru2010 the Official North American Queen Convention.
We have some exciting news for you.
Just added to the convention and Friday night agenda is: "The Freddie Mercury Rock Show" featuring Rick Rock a Canadian tribute to Freddie Mercury. You won’t want to miss this special performance. Check him out here link
So lets go through the agenda again, Celebrating Queen, Jacky Smith, Peter Freestone, The Freddie Mercury Rock Show, fabulous auction, trivia, raffle, buffet, games, videos, karaoke, dance, everything “Flash” costume contest, and incredible Queen fans from all over. detroit will seem like paradise then............
Well, Detroit was great, the committee was great, Jacky and Phoebe were outstanding, the participants were for the most part grand and friendly as always.......the hotel and staff.........no comment. I'll let Paul and others comment if they want.
Had a great time seeing old friends that we hadn't seen in a couple of years, meeting some newbies, and discussing some topics indepth with those who chose to share. Kathy (thanks for sharing all the Brian stories), Dave T, , Ed, Jennifer, Gina, Brian, hula Karen....et al....the new found and lost long bonds.
Illiena and Danny...yes, we will come up to Montreal for a RedWings-Canadiens game when scheduled.
Stacey, Janet, Wendy, Ricky, Nora,....sexy Paul in the pool upon my arrival, Ray, Julie, Jim, Dave Y and Colleen Michelle....Nan and Jacky... thanks as always.
Phoebe was FAB, and what a gentleman. Provided more personal info than one could expect.
btw...his favorite Freddie song is 'How Can I Go On'. One of my top 5 is the Freddie solo collection version.
Allen: Once again, Susan says thanks for the HRC pin.
Really hope it's in Chicago or Atlanta or Philly or Memphis or Nashville or New York for the 10th anniversary. New formats might help a tad as well.
From your 2010 Trivia Contest qualifying round high point champion (who gave up his spot in the finals for an enthusiastic unqualifying participant....who ended up being very ungrateful without one 'thank you' afterwards)
I came as a defending champion. I left as one.
