The BBC's current, six part TV programme "I'm in a
Rock'n'Roll Band!", takes a look at what makes the perfect
rock'n'roll band, with each aspect given due focus as the weeks unfold.
The third episode, airing on Saturday, May 15th at 9:45pm (BST) on BBC2,
takes a look at The Drummer: "Does the drummer's clown-like personality
and appetite for destruction mean he doesn't get taken seriously? Or is
he the band member most in tune with the primal power of music to get
us moving? Speaking up for the much maligned sticksman are Queen's Roger
Taylor, Pink Floyd's Nick Mason, Stewart Copeland of The Police and Red
Hot Chili Pepper, Chad Smith."
The show is repeated on May 18th at 11:20pm, and May 22nd at 1:20am.
You'll also be able to catch it via the BBC's iPlayer service.
