That's the point, those demos are ones I don't have, but know do exist. I was making a request that if anyone did have it that they might share/trade it. Sorry, hope that clears it up. |
brians wig 05.05.2010 02:54 |
Great post Ginja. Your willingness to share is commendable, but personally I'd have kept these hidden in a back room rather than nailed to the front door. |
pittrek 05.05.2010 04:09 |
Thanks, I hope it will last until I download it :) I had uploaded here my nice collection, unfortunately the links don't work anymore and most of the original files stayed only on my hard disc which doesn't exist anymore |

I think I have Party and The Invisible Man,got to look for them and send them to you,can you tell me which convention is this?thanks |
GinjaNinja 05.05.2010 15:20 |
Okay, they're all from different conventions: It's A Hard Life (Demo) - 20th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn Back Chat (Alternate Mix) - 2006 Dutch Fan Club Convention Brighton Rock (Early Demo) - 19th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn Dancer (Alternate Mix) - 2006 Dutch Fan Club Convention Face It Alone (Demos) - 16th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn Funny How Love Is (Takes 3 - 5) - 20th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn Great King Rat (Early Demo Take 4) - 20th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn Great King Rat (Take One) - 19th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn I Go Crazy (Instrumental Demo) - 2006 Dutch Fan Club Convention In The Laps Of The Gods Revisited (Instrumental Demo) - Unknown Jam (Dragon Attack?) - 19th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn (Probably) Jealousy (Instrumental Demo) - 20th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn Khashoggi's Ship (Demo) - 16th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn Let Me Entertain You (Alternate mix) - 2006 Dutch Fan Club Convention Nevermore (Instrumental Demo) - 20th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn One Vision (Demo) - 2006 Dutch Fan Club Convention Put Out The Fire (Alternate Mix) - 20th International Fan Club Convention Rain Must Fall (Demo) - 2006 Dutch Fan Club Convention Ride The Wild Wind - 16th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn Sail Away Sweet Sister (Instrumental Demo) - 19th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn Sandbox (Demo) - 2004 Dutch Fan Club Convention Somebody To Love (Early Demo) - Unknown (Same as ITLOTGR Demo) Somebody To Love (Vocal Out-Take) - 19th International Fan Club Convention Tenement Funster(Instrumental Demo) - 19th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn (Probably) The March Of The Black Queen (Takes 3-5) - 20th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn Tie Your Mother Down (Demo) - 2006 Dutch Fan Club Convention If anyone could fill me in on the ones I am unsure about or don't know, it would be much appreciated. |

is this what you were looking for?Party and The Invisible Man link link |
L-R-TIGER1994 05.05.2010 15:54 |
Forget The Invisible Man,it's not the one that you asked for... |
GinjaNinja 05.05.2010 16:02 |
L-R-TIGER1994 wrote: is this what you were looking for?Party and The Invisible Man link link I'm afraid not, they are both demos from conventions I am looking for, and you've uploaded Khashoggi's Ship instead of Party! Thank you anyway though. |
GinjaNinja 05.05.2010 16:05 |
These are the descriptions from Queenvault: Invisible Man: The Invisible Man (Early Demo) This track premired at the 16th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn. Roger Taylor sings original guide vocal. Party: Party (Stand-Alone Version) This track premired at the 16th International Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn. This is a complete stand-alone version that does not segue into Khashoggi's Ship. |
Yuri Queen 05.05.2010 16:44 |
no one have this convention ?? :( |
FriedChicken 06.05.2010 03:39 |
I think it's time for a couple of people to sort out all these demo's and tag them properly. Half of the stuff that's out there isn't even a 'demo'. Most of the stuff are just alternate takes of the backing track. Alternate takes of backing tracks probably make up 95% of all the unreleased stuff of bands. If you look at the stuff that's available of bands like Beatles and Beach Boys 99% of it are alternate takes, rather than demo's. |
FriedChicken 06.05.2010 03:43 |
By the way, am I the only one who really doesn't like those vocal mixes Greg makes(?) for the people to listen to. Stuff like It's a Hard Life, Barcelona, Kashoggi's Ship and Rain Must Fall. It's so annoying, rather choose the most different one than all the vocals simultaneously |

It's so annoying, rather choose the most different one than all the vocals simultaneously --------------- It's JSS that does the mixing and let's face it, they are made for convention goer's to listen to as many vocal takes as possible without having to play the song two or three times (I suspect you are thinking of Stealin as well...), and not made for folks to disregard the same request every year and record them to put on the intrenet. That's why they stopped playing unreleased demos and started playing different takes and out-takes and why they dubbed "property of" over the top of everything. |
queenfanbg 06.05.2010 05:59 |
PROPERTY of what ? |

Sorry, I just have them labelled like that in the folder, I never bothered to sort them out. I'll sort out the names now. |
GinjaNinja 06.05.2010 10:32 |
Just going through them again, Ride The Wild Wind DOESNT sound like it's from a Convention, I suspect it might just be an extract from the eYe version, I'm going to compare them now, so sorry if I've mislead anyone :( EDIT: Looks like it is just the eYe version with one of the stereo channels removed and slowed down slightly, so I've removed it from the folder. Sorry |

I would seriously love to have everything properly categorized with detailed dates etc. but we need for it at least somebody who was at those specific conventions and made notices |
GinjaNinja 06.05.2010 10:57 |
Ok, I've sorted out the names by listening to the tracks and also from the descriptions on Queenvault. Please note that It's A Hard Life is an "Alternate Mix" featuring different vocal takes rather than a demo (Mediafire doesn't want to let me change it). Satisfied? :P |
