Is this the REAL "Brighton Fuck" demo ? link
I'm asking, because it sounds to me like a remix created from the multitracks and added Greg's patented "Property of Queen Productions" . Can somebody confirm if this is the real thing or if just somebody played with the multis ?
If it's real, when was this recorded ?
Thanks
Don't know much about it tbh, but it sounds genuine. Freddie is ad-libbing the lyrics, which is not done on the 24 track masters.
If it was played at the convention, which it seems it was, I'm sure somebody on QZ was there and can help you to date it.

Yes, this is real demo.
I share this track on hub in last year"
Queen fans, always there to take credit for something they had nothing to do with. At least you can count on them for one thing..
It circulated long before you got it, my friend. It was taped at the 2004 fan convention.
Very nice... never heard it before. thanks
Why would QP not release these tracks to the fanbase with the 'PROPERTY OF QP' just on it.
I wouldnt mind hearing that every few seconds if it meant hearing these gems in CD quality.
It's not like they would be very commercially valuable with a watermark like that..
stupid basterds.
sorry, just frustration

I know Bob. But record from 2004 convention was uncutted. I'm easily correcting, cutting and share after then. Because and ask, what this is that record, which i share on hub :)))))
Oh, an early version doesn't make it 'Brighton Fuck' per se. If it was tagged like that on the tape than it is. For all we know it could have one of the other working titles, or it could have been titled Brighton Rock by that point.
Hey guys there are more of this from this user:
Tenement Funster (Intrumental demo) link
In The Lap of The Gods...Revisited (Demo) link
Can anyone confirm if this is real
It must be real as no-one on earth would go to so much trouble create a fake demo. Very interesting how the whole backing track is complete but the lead vocal is still a million miles away from being even thought of, never mind complete.

Real....
They're all genuine. They're just studio run-throughs of the backing tracks, and different takes from the final versions. Or who knows, maybe they assembled bits from various takes for the final versions.
It really sucks that everything in the Queen world is so poorly documented... When you download stuff like the Beach Boys Unsurpassed Masters you get a lot of information (for example the takenumber you're listening to)
When you look at the Freddie box it's most of the time just "Early Take" or "Later take". Which is a shame, I think.
Ok, I need some help to identify this song. I've had it labelled as "Dragon Attack (Instrumental Demo)", but I honestly can't see the resemblance: link link
In 2004 Greg played a jam from the Jazz sessions that would turn out to be Coming Soon, This might be it.
It definatly doesn't sound like something that would become a song like Dragon Attack. Dragon Attack is riffdriven, this is chord driven.
