The fanclub is great. When you join it you get:
- a signed welcome message from Brian and Roger.
- a CD including 10 unreleased tracks, exclusively compiled by Greg Brooks for the fanclub. This releases gets changed every year. When I joined I got a CD with amongst others an instrumental version of Ogre Battle, a demo of Tenement Funster and a remix of Action This Day for a single which never got released. All in excellent quality of course :)
- 4 times a year a thick magazine (40+ pages) filled with exclusive interviews, pictures and information
- optional membership to an Official Archive Releases club, where you can buy unreleased live- and studiorecordings by the band and it's members. Not really cheap, but you'll happily put down 18 pounds for a 2-CD set of outtakes from the Opera-sessions :)
- front-row tickets to any shows, gigs or performances the band participate in
- plus ofcourse lots of new friends :)
Oh wait...

I was a member for 2 years and I got several magazines. All of them combined MAYBE add up to 40 pages... just maybe. :)
Quit insulting dogs, Pim!!!
On a side note, you could send me $20 a year. In return, I will send you some pictures that are found on Queenzone. Also, a list of trading partners, as found on Queenzone. A biography of the band, as found on Queenzone. News and rumors exclusive to Queen fans, as found on Queenzone (courtesy of Queenzone Ghost).
That's more than you'll ever get from the Official Fan Club.
