Just bought Snakes and Arrows. Last album before that I bought was Live in Rio. Not as into them as I used to be, but I'd still like to see them live, so hopefully a big UK tour is in the making. [/img]

They are not touring the U.K. this year. Perhaps next year.
The U.S./Canadian 2010 tour is entitled "Time Machine Tour".
Two dates announced so far:
PNC Bank Arts Center
Holmdel
Sept. 3
Nikon at Jones Beach Theater
Wantagh, New York

My sources tell me it's going to be a new song and a tour release.
Less than 6 hours to go..
They've been in pre-production on a song or two in Toronto. They're rumored to be
going to Nashville to record this/these song(s) with Nick Raskulinecz sometime
in the near future.
The key is in knowing what KIND of chocolate. Geddy is a particular kind of guy ... I took him to Arcadia the other night instead of Dorsia, he fucking walked out on me.

The bastard.
LOL
Geddy is known for loving his wine and cheese (but not when he's touring; the cheese produces too much mucus).
So, when he's not touring in the fall, send him a gift basket. Give him one more chance. It may just have been pre-tour
jitters.
Some people are exquisite assholes. Somebody backed into the side of my parked car last night, pretty much annihalating one of my back doors, and took off. This leaves me stuck with the $500 deductible, and a really good chance I won't be able to afford to go to Quebec to see Rush.
Seriously, don't do this to anyone. It sucks.

Drop me an email (the PM thing doesn't work here, so go through my website). I might have a plan B for you.
they've found a secret code hidden in the computer system that is counting down to the invasion of nasty aliens orbiting our planet..

======================================
Returned from a perfect camping trip on what turned out to be a lovely Victoria Day long weekend to jaw dropping correpsondence with Sir GH. I hope he doesn't mind me being the one to break this, but Bob is actually GEDDY LEE!!! And, as if it could, it actually gets better. Alex Lifeson apparently runs a body shop on the side! So, tickets and a limo and an as good as new car = plan B. I am so in!
Okay, it's possible I made that all up. I'll let Bob decide. ;)
But I do have developments. When I got back from camping today there was an envelope with an anonymous typewritten note and $500 in cash stuck under my windshield wiper. Long story short, a person boarding with one of my neighbours saw the whole thing and we were able to approach another neighbour who also boards students armed with the information and the fact that I was stuck with a $500 bill. It looks like it was an aquaintance of the foreign student who lives across from me. The note was typewritten and in broken English and apologized and expressed 'guilt and shame' very typical of Asian cultures. But now I still feel like poo because I haven't yet had my follow up with the police which is required for me to not be at fault as far as my insurance company is concerned, and I have neither the desire to get this person in trouble, nor the desire or guts to lie to the police. I understand how a Chinese person on a student visa might fear police because of police in their culture and fear getting in trouble and jeopardizing their immigration status. Failure to remain at the scene of an accident can be treated seriously enough, even when it's only property damage. I am really quite morally torn about it and don't yet know how to proceed.

I saw a link to that event on Facebook. I entered the competition.
The documentary "RUSH - Beyond The Lighted Stage" will be playing in some theaters before it is released on
dvd and blu-ray on June 29th here in N. America.
It's an excellent documentary on the band, and I highly recommend any fan of rock music to see it.
I was at the premiere a few weeks back, and Geddy and Alex showed up for a Q&A. They hung around for quite a while, and they had quite the sense of humour.
