EDIT : I'm downloading the DVD and I must say it looks MUCH better than the circulating version, from what I have seen till now I would rate it VG+ . I compared it to my version, and this one is much brighter, and has much more video details, BUT it was encoded again with quite a low bitrate so in more dynamic scenes be prepaired for squares :-)
I am willing to upload the DVD here this weekend, but please somebody share the 4 CDs if possible :-) My ratio at Dime is terribly low, so I can't download everything :-)

Are you saying it has been re-encoded and is lossy?

Someone somewhere has the master tape and I reckon we are back to the pathetic old game of "I'll release it, but I'm downgrading the quality because I don't want anyone to have it perfect".
OK I'm watching it now and I must say that there are many positive and many negative things to say about this DVD.
Positive things :
- I have seen during the last years at least 10 different versions of this concert, and this one comes from the lowest generation I have seen, it has a good level of detail
- I'm not sure about this, but I think that the bootleggers didn't use the original audio, but the audio is taken from the audience master tape, and I didn't notice any synchronization problems yet
Negative things :
- The audio. The author of this DVD probably uses some quite bad ac3 encoder, the high frequencies sound very "digital" if you understand what I mean, I hate the drum sound. Also I don't remember that much hiss
- The colours. The author could at least set the black & white points correctly, It's nice that Freddie's pants "look" white, but the background is dark grey. It looks like somebody manually increased brightness.
- The encoding - this would definitely deserve a 2DVD release with 8.2 MBps CBR and LPCM audio. To say it politely, it's not a good idea to watch this on a Full HD monitor :-)
But definitely if you don't have a video from this gig yet, this is definitely worth downloading :-)
Is anybody planing to upload the DVD here or should I try it ? I guess it's not possible to seed the DVD on 2 different trackers :-)

Would you consider doing your own version? Synching a lossless audio source to the video, correcting the colour, and burning it to two DVDs ..? Or is it too bright beyond repair?
Brian's wig is right.. it's not unusual that someone tampers with the circulating copy to keep the best version for themselves.
