The soundtrack IS a DTS-HD Master Audio. I just hope it sounds much better than any other release which has always been quite tinny to my ears, and I hope they've done a decent surround mix on it, though I expect it will be no better than the Highlander BD soundmix which was a letdown.

Did Highlander ever see a BD release anywhere? I know it was scheduled for a French release, but dunno if that went through or not.

Yes, several countries did release it: UK, France, Germany, Australia, Japan
It's a shame that we have to revert to out dated 80s movies on BD to hear Queen in HD 5.1 audio.
The only reason why I would buy them and just play them with the TV turned off!
Just release the albums on BD audio disk and have dome with it!

I DID suggest that to Justin Shirley-Smith as far back as late 2005, actually! He said they could consider looking into that (at the time), but 5 years pass on, and no word since if they've taken serious consideration into that...
