Jamster,
I think your insurance agent is full of bullshit.
I prefer Hot Space over Queen II, anytime. Queen II is a great album, but there's nothing really memorable about it. Nothing really catchy, except Seven Seas Of Rhye and some bits of other songs. Let the floodgates open!

I bet you all theres atleast one or more song you like on every single album (even the Miracle!) No matter how many crappier songs there are on that album....for example I think the miracle is not the best album Queen have done yet I wouldn't call it bad or rubbish and I dislike the track rain must fall (or whatever it is...) but however I love I 'want it all'
I mean really! did Queen really have 5 bad/worse albums!? 5!!!!!?
Oh great, another person who measures music by its catchiness..
To rate Body Language and Action This Day above White Queen and Nevermore is just... sad.
Is Nickelback better than Radiohead too?
I realize that we all have different tastes in music, but the art of music far transcends what is and isn't catchy. Music can be deeper and introspective beyond what's on the surface, a quality Queen's music had mostly lost by 1982. I feel sorry for anyone whose musical tastes are so one-dimensional, and I can only hope they one day blossom. Until then, the majority of the music out there will be inaccessible to them.
I hate Body Language as well !
I think that Queen 2 it s a very deep-intense album !
u can understand that they were going to the TOP !
IT S ONE OF THE BEST ALBUM EVER !
Father to son, White Queen, Ogre battle, Black queen..these are GREAT SONGS-MUSICALLY AND FOR LIRYCS !
I agree with you about Queen II - Awesome album. And I believe that Queen never put out a "bad" album - maybe "bad" for them, but not "bad" in general.
Queen2 vs hot space....lol. I have nothing against hot space...I go through my hot space moments, but let's be serious. Queen2 is one of queens most Influencial albums. what a brilliant piece of work. I agree that queen never released a truly bad album....My least favorite is the miracle, and even that one has 5 songs I like. the same for hot space....I like 5 or 6 songs. someone mentioned made in heaven...How is that a bad album?...not one song on MIH I hate. One of the more consistent albums they released after the game.

I understand the art and sophistication of Queen II. Being a 'best' album could mean many things. Trendy, catchiness, sophistication, it all is part of it. But Queen II isn't my best.
By the way, I can't even remember all of the lyrics to White Queen. I can to Nevermore, though.
I don't care what anyone thinks about how I feel about Hot Space and a lot of Queen's 80s stuff. Hot Space is pretty hip. Catchy, cool, and a nice break from the usual Queen orchestra, haha.
Hot Space certainly captured a moment in time. About 3 minutes in the early 80's. For 5 minutes it was groovy and hip. After that it was outdated, cheesy and embarassing...
Under Pressure shifted units, thats all it had going for it.
OMFG! I thought Olive Loaf was just a horrid false memory implanted into my other childhood memories. This makes it all real. AAARRRGGGGHHHH!
