I have uploaded a list of all Queen tribute/cover bands of which I know that exist or have existed.
Some of them are good, some of them are not. Some of them have a quite impressive set list with other songs than only greatest hits. Some add something original to their shows, other bands are imitating the '86 Wembley show, with wigs, false moustache, yellow jacket, etc. Some are very professional, others just play for fun.
There are bands that have quit without giving any notice. In some cases web site suddenly dissapeared.
In other cases the band doesn't exist anymore, but their site is still online.
The 4th and 5th collumn have links to their web sites. You get there by clicking on the cells.
I know there are Queen fans that hate them or don't care about them. That's okay with me.
You can help me by sending names of bands (+ links to sites) that are not on this list and by sending links to sites that I couldn't find.
There's one band missing that I rate the most exciting Queen cover band of all. It's "Rock4", an acapella band from the Netherlands that does complete Queen evenings including the performance of the whole "A night at the Opera album".
Amazing singers and I dare to say that their lead singer should be the guy for the next "Queen" - Reunion...
